The Terumi clan is very unknown. Much is to be learned. The fifth Mizukage who was of this clan was known to have two kekkei genkais, however it is assumed that she learned the Yoton Release on her own. The Terumi's and there Acid Mist, have been known to survive many of the shinobi wars.

Boil Release are techniques that combine fire and water-based chakra to create a powerful corrosive vapor capable of melting anything, depending on it's rank. It's pretty much kneading chakra in your stomach and forming together fire and water to create an acidic steam that can possibly break through metals, plastics, ect. It is simply centered around the control of fire chakra and water chakra put together at a simple rate where the fire chakra is overpowering the water chakra. So, instead of the water taking over the fire and putting it out, the fire overpowering the water into steam molecules which come out of the body in an acidic form. They come out form this along with acids in the body and PH generation within their specialized chakra. Along with this, they are immune to their own acids. They can can raise or lower the PH of solvents, using their chakra, pretty much being able to weaken or make an acid stronger with a simple handseal. While also, they can have control over steam, simply with out acid, using it to not melt things but to overheat battlefields or to simply create when launched with a water or fire styled technique. The boil appears as a misty substance that travels out of the mouth quickly.

Description: The Mist Corrosion Technique requires knowledge of the Boil Release as well as the Katon, and Suiton Release. Terumi's are taught at an exceptionally young age their second element: Suiton. As the mist is created inside there stomaches, they can expel it out, while heating it in there mouths creating the strong acidic mist. This requires the tiger or snake handseal. This technique is unavailable at Academy Student rank due to the acid being able to overcome there body and burn them form the inside out. During Genin rank (C Rank), a Terumi can create a Mist of about 3.75 PH Level, which is strong enough to burn through normal glass, as well as some C Ranked Earth techniques, this gives the skin a feeling of tingling as well as producing an almost 3rd degree burn. During C Rank, the jutsu is about 2 litres of vapor and can moved around at will by the Shinobi. During Chuunin rank (B Rank), a Terumi can create a mist of almost 2 PH level, which is strong enough to melt the steel on a kunai, along with the leather handle, this mist can also begin to melt flesh away, giving 2nd degree, almost 1st degree burns
During B Rank, the jutsu is about 5 litres of vapor and can moved around at will by the Shinobi.. During Jounin rank (A Rank), can create a mist with acidity of about 0.5 PH which begins to melt away almost anything in its path, this gives an instant sensation of flesh begin to dissipate as an alarming rate and melts through about half the bone in a human body. During A Rank, the jutsu is about 10 litres of vapor and can moved around at will by the Shinobi.During Kage or Sennin Rank (S Rank), this jutsu has the ability to obliterate everything, at an alarming ph level of -2, this jutsu has been known to burn through the Susunoo shield of the Uchiha. Along with the ability to create this jutsu, the Temari's can withstand there mist. During S Rank, the jutsu is about 15 litres of vapor and can moved around at will by the Shinobi. However it seems that when they manipulate the form of the mist, it becomes impossible to withstand as the acid is in a more concentrated form. This jutsu lasts 1 post for Genin, 2 posts for Chuunin and Jounin, and 3 post for Kages/Sennins. The melting of flesh can take anywhere from a few seconds to a few minutes based on the rank. C-B rank will take about 1-2 minutes (or two posts of constant mist contact), A will take about a post in the mist, and S Rank will take about a paragraph. The only known ways of not getting hurt by this jutsu are to use a sheild of higher rank, except when it comes to S Ranked, another way is too neutralize the acid with a base such as bleach, or milk. However a lot would be needed for something like .5 PH Level. Another known way is to entrap the mist in something and send it away.
