A fresh new morning, when the birds chirped in the air, and people began just waking up and going to their jobs, had just arrived. Today, the academy had a day off, giving Echo some free time to do whatever she wanted. Echo lived alone, so she was always up early in the morning and out the door to see what was going on around the village. Wearing her regular outfit, she closed her door behind her, and began walking towards the entrance of the village before something shiny caught the corner of her eye. Looking to her left, she saw something shiny and metal wedged in between a barrel and a wall. As she approached it, she began getting a better description of what it looked like. Echo extended her arm out, grabbed onto the smooth hard metal, and felt behind it some type of fabric. When she managed to get it out, she knew exactly what it was. A ninja headband with the Konoha symbol on it. Holding it with one hand, and wiping the dirt and rust off of it, that it carried off of the barrel. Echo had always wanted a headband to wear, and never actually held one in her hands before. It had a little weight to it, and the metal was as hard as steel. She began looking around, to see if anyone nearby was looking for it, but there was no one around. She didn't know what to due with it, and she knew if she kept it, she would get in trouble. Due to the academy rule of academy students not allowed to have possession of a ninja headband until they graduate. Echo didn't want to leave it there, and decided she would take it to the Kage's office, and report it as a lost headband. She stuffed the headband into her white bag on the side of her waist, that hung by a long white strap that hung around her bare right shoulder. The bag hung on her left side. When she put the headband in her bag, the blue loose ribbons from the headband dangled down to the side of her bag, and not in it.
Echo looked around once more to see if anyone would show up for it, then began walking towards the Kage's office. Which at her location, was a slightly long walk.
