Isamu was reaching the Gate while the sun was rising. His mission was to sit all the day at the gates until someone else would replace him. He took off his black ribbon and his eyes wandered at the endless desert.
After a couple of hours, people got out of their houses and the gates got busy. However, Isamu’s orders were clear. He couldn’t allow anyone get in or out, unless under the Kazekage’s privilege. But everyone wanted to get out, making Isamu tell them again and again that he could let someone pass, only if it was an emergency, after letting the Kazekage know. Everyone started complaining, especially after the Kazekage let the medical core pass, in order to search for injured people after the last night’s sandstorm. The troubles weren’t long to come and the day was going to be long and exhausting.
Isamu couldn’t stay still even for a moment. He had already asked several times for permissions, but the orders were orders. The only permissions that he got from the Kazekage, were to let 2 injured shinobi get in, a squad to get out on a mission and the medical core. Suddenly someone tried to pass with his own will, running across the gates. Isamu immediately stopped him by bounding him with his water whip jutsu. “Let me pass!” he kept shouting trying to get free by Isamu’s jutsu. The situation then turned out to be tragic, because everyone dared to pass without permission, after seeing that man. The crowed started running through the gates and Isamu got in front of them to stop them, but it was no use. They passed through him, forcing him to use other methods. He jumped on the gates and ran until the end of the gates. He then went down again and shouted: “Water Style: Stormy Blockade!”
Water fell down into the gates, making everyone stop. He then made some water clones to force the crowd back and then told everyone:
“Please everyone, I don’t want troubles. Return to the village. I won’t let anyone pass if it is not an emergency.”
Most of the villagers got back in the village but some strangers stood by the gates and told with clear loud voice:
“Let us pass if you don’t want to get in trouble”
Isamu looked at them with curiosity to see who they were, but he couldn’t recognize them. They were from another village. Their forehead protector was making clear that they were shinobi, but it was the first time that Isamu had seen that symbol.
“Sorry, but I have clear orders not to let anyon...” he was speaking while one of the three ninja threw at him four shuriken.
“We didn’t ask you what your orders are, fool” “We told you to let us pass” he said and walked forward.
As Isamu had no choice but to stop them, got down and stood right in front of that man. The man told the other two to attack him but when he turned back, he saw them down, by Isamu’s water clones.
Before giving him a chance to attack, Isamu used Beast Wave Palm jutsu, but the enemy managed to avoid it. He swiftly got right in front of Isamu holding a sword, but Isamu had already cast the required hand seals and shouted:
“Wind Style: Vacuum Wave” (Fūton: Shinkūha) and instantly spined around his body, exhaling a large blade of wind that cut the enemy and dropped him down badly injured.
Isamu saw a Jounin arriving, in order to replace him. He snorted relieved, and said with a relaxing voice:
“Mission Complete”
