Legends and Myths
To the Naka Shrine

Having gained alot of information from the old notebook that he had just burned, he recalled the sentences he read on the note. "If you read this, go to the uchiha clan shrine called the Naka shrine. In the main hall, beneath the seventh tatami mat from the far right, is a secret meeting place of the Uchiha clan. In there is a tablet containing the clan's secrets. The tablet can only be read with specific dōjutsu, with the Sharingan you will be able of reading half of the story, if you have obtained the Mangekyou sharingan, you will also be able of reading the other half. Here the secrets of the Mangekyō Sharingan are written, as is the story of the Sage of the Six Paths and the Ten-Tailed Beast". He knew about the Mangekyou sharingan and the power it granted it's users, but no one in the clan knew how exactly to awaken it. As to the sage of the six paths, no one knew alot about him either, except for being the forefather of all jutsu.

When Shizuka was preparing for his walk to the Naka shrine in the upper region of konoha, he went to Uchiha Senbei to get a little snack. There was no harm in taking his time, since no one would currently know of the tablet and the Uchiha stronghold other then him. Enjoying his dinner, he paid his tab and walked to the flower shop to get two boucket's of flowers to put on the Memorial stone, since both his father and his grandfather died as shinobi serving the village. "You guys really did die way too early, especially you dad" Shizuka said while staring at the sky. Since he never had a chance to meet his father, his grandfather acted like a father-figure for the young Shizuka. Having heard from his mother that his grandfather and father usually had arguments about money, marriage and their baby, he thought it was odd that his father and grandfather had been working on the same project. Having figured all of the coördinates for the hidden stronghold and having the secret note for the Tablet, he was dead set on finding out what it was that both his father and his grandfather both failed to fully solve.

Walking up to the monument, he placed both Boucket's and sat down on the monument. Thinking about all the things he heard from his mother about the great deeds of his father as a shinobi, and his Grandfather as an Anbu veteran, he felt that he had done quite a good job in becoming a jounin at a young age, hoping to one day surpass his father and grandfather. He was well on his way in surpasing his father, because he had the sword his father used, the same level of sharingan and his father's personal summoning, Obutsu. Ontop of that he also had alot of experience passed down from his grandfather, and had learned almost all he knew about ninjutsu and the shinobi world from him. Still sitting, he sighed deeply and stared at the sky. "What would it have been like if you two where still around" he thought to himself. Smilling a little bit, he was sure that not much would have changed on the long run.

As a man came at him from the sky, he first thought that it was a bird. A few moments later, he saw that it was actually a man wich had alot of insect-like features. As the two started talking, the man brought up his father and grandfather, asking if the people burried here where people he knew.

Legends and Myths II [training][Private] Empty

As the two finished their conversation, Shizuka had reached his destination and got some answers to some of his questions. Stepping onto the stairs leading to the Naka shrine, each step he set was one step towards the tablet of the rikudou sennin. Walking into the rooms of the shrine one by one, he looked for the right room. Once he found it, he searched for the seventh tatami mat from the far right under wich the secret passage should be hidden under. Hearing the difference in the footing, he lifted up the mat and opened a trapdoor leading into a somewhat dark room with but two burning torches. As he came into the room, he noticed all of the Uchiha clan's history was depicted on the walls. Seeing the paintings of the rikudou sennin and the moon up untill the painting of Hashirama versus Madara and the Kyuubi. "So much history, there has to be so much work in this room, so much literature that never got to see the daylight above".

As he sat down, he started reading through alot of journals and old books about the time of the Rikudou sennin and the birth of the two brothers, one having the eyes of the sage, the other having the body of the sage. It was from those two brother that the war between the senju and the uchiha spawned. Reading what the book said about it, he started reading out loud. "Legend states that Rikudou Sennin faced the Juubi, or ten-tailed demon. Unable to stop the beast directly, he sealed the demon's power within his own body and placed the Juubi's body into a mass of rock which became the moon. As his life as the Juubi Jinchuuriki was nearing its end, he split the Juubi into nine parts and dispersed it around the world. These parts would become the Bijuu. In his life Rikudou fathered two sons. The elder son received his father's "eyes": his powerful chakra and spirtual energy. His youngest son received his "body": his life force and physical energy. The eldest son believed power was the key to peace, while the young son believed that love was the key. On his death bed the Rikudou chose his youngest son as successor. This caused the elder brother to act out in hatred against his brother, as he felt his father should have chosen him instead. The agression between the two families would carry on through time. The descendants of the elder brother would become the Uchiha, and the youngests descendants would become the Senju".

Being very interested in this story, he kept reading about the Juubi's power wich was said to be very great. Being the original, primordial demon in the shinobi world, it was common knowledge to Shizuka that this beast had to be a great source of power. All nine of the tailed beasts are but portions of chakra divided from the Ten-Tails, While his body was sealed in the moon. Finding a matching painting on the wall, he saw the one who he thought to be the Rikudou sennin standing infront of the Juubi, a one eyed demon with ten tailes. A painting further was another one in wich it was shown that the Ridudou sennin seperated the Juubi into nine individual pieces. Noticing that he forgot how late it was, he took out a large scroll and began sealing some of the almost Ancient uchiha journals, scrolls and some of the paintings on the wall. Not wanting any of it to go lost, he wanted to keep it close to him. As his eye went through the room after sealing most of the artifacts, he suddenly dropped the scroll on the ground. As his eye fell on a brittle, old segment of rock. Slowly walking towards it, he saw an ancient, long lost language on the stone tablet. After reading it, he didnt know what it said, so did as the note instructed him. Upon activating his sharingan, 3/4th of the tablet became readable, holding alot of information on how to gain the Mangekyou sharingan and the upgraded version, the Eternal Mangekyou sharingan. This Mangekyou variant would greatly increase one's power, aswell as keeping the user from turning blind due to the strain the Mangekyou sharingan places upon the eyes. Needing to take the eyes from a fellow Uchiha that has also gotten the Sharingan and implanting it into ones head, the mangekyou would turn into the eternal mangekyou, a Sharingan that wont ever lose it's light.

Seeing that the Tablet was to brittle and old to be moved, he wrapped the scroll around the stone and sealed it in the scroll aswell. Wanting to figure out what else was on the stone, he took it with him to keep anyone else from taking it. Once he came up from the hidden room, he used a Doton technique to fill the room with mud, all the way up to the ceiling of the basement. Using the fire style to harden the mud, it turned into a hard, earthen floot. Placing the mat over it, it looked as if there was never a basement to begin with. Now that all of the Uchiha clan's ancient artifacts had been secured and the only trail to the Uchiha stronghold had been submerged and burried under a thick layer of concrete earth, there where only two things left to do. He had to go to the stronghold and see what other mistery's he could solve there, and then he had to decipher the last part of the Rikudou sennin Tablet. Walking out of the Naka shrine like nothing had happened, he had the scroll secured inside a pocket of his body armor, kept hidden under his shirt. Now that he had achieved the first piece of the puzzle and removed all hints to what he was doing by covering his tracks for others, he had all the time in the world.
