I Never Gave A Damn About the Weather [Closed To Chaos.]

Naethyn creeped out of his bedroom, it was the dead of the night. An owl wouldn't be caught at this hour. He slowly murmured how his buddy Genkou was going to catch him. He wanted to leave with as little supplies as needed and head for Iwagakure where he would seek refuge.

He manipulated the light around him to light a straight "b line" without disrupting the other light around him. He quickly headed towards the open window with a pack with a little food to last him all the way to Kiri. He heard the new Iwakage was nice. Maybe he'd atleast give Naethyn a head start out the door before coming to kill him.

Naethyn ran forth without a sound and suddenly stood dead in his tracks as he landed on his feet out the window.

"Where are you going, Naet?" He head Chaos say.

"As my 2nd-In-Command, your aware that resigning is against our policy. Is it not? I believe it was your idea in the first place. We have an important mission tommorrow, and yet you try to sneak off?" Kaze said. His Sharingan was active, and his attention was aimed at Naet. They were the two most powerful members of the organization, and despite the group losing three members during the journey, the group recovered and was begging to thrive. "If this is about one of your pathetic speeches concerning benefits and a better goals, then lets settle this like gentlemen and discuss about it. Besides, I don't feel like hunting down you AND Yami. Thats a bit too much on my part. So what is it going to be, Naet?"

"Sneaking. You make what I was doing sound devious. I was merely-" Naethyn's voice quickly shut off as to not go on about his benefits like the Uchiha had told him. He wasn't facing Kaze, which was good, if he decided to manipulate his mind Naethyn was lost. He quickly used a small Mirrored Surface technique just for a second to see. The Kekkei Genkai was active and yet nothing seemed to happen.

"There is almost nothing to be discussed besides the fact that I am leaving. The mission can be carried out without me. As well as the group. I dont want to become the monsters we aim to kill. Thats my Ninja Way." Naethyn said throwing in some old wise words before releasing any light he possessed and getting ready to run.

Using the wind or air in the atmosphere as a physical surface, the caster bends the light to appear as though it is a mirror. This technique can be used to mirror something further away and use it as a defense. This technique is mainly defensive.

Smh. "Naet...Naet...Naet..." Kaze trailed off and immediately broke the mirror surface with his sword--Chaos. "You keep forgetting that my Sharingan can see chakra, and whenever you perform your glass techniques, I see a change in your chakra flow." He said. He grinned somewhat and decided to continue speaking. "If we don't find a way to stop these problems, the guardians will destroy us. Then there won't be any 'ninja way', cause we will all be nothing. Your staying here, Naet, whether you like it or not. It seems you've forgotten things, including your past. Your memories of home are gone...every one. I don't see anything left, but change and indifference." As soon as he started talking about memories, his voice began to have somewhat of an eco to it. Meaning one thing--he was preparing to cast a bunch of illusions. [b]"Too bad, Naet. I was looking forward to you being by my side as we form an alliance with Iwagakure, but I guess there wouldn't be a need for that. Might as well end it here--permanantly. Kaze quickly sheathed his sword and summoned his deadly scythe. Ever since they had arrived at the castle, Kaze's power had began to grow stronger. As if the castle was feeding him power, and had become his main source of power. How? And why? Kaze gazed at Naet, ready to try out his newfound power.

Naethyn noticed the sword approaching his face, just missing it. On the backswing it sliced some hair off his neck. Kaze was not a great swordsmen but he had his Bloodline trait activated. He was in his element right now. Kaze could see chakra, that was plain and simple but light is something he can't perceive as well as the Hiton Magician could.

Right before the sword was retracted, Naethyn almost instantly used the Body Flicker technique and summoned two clones. His sunglasses on himself would be his only needed defence. Naethyn was now in the air distracting Kaze from the two clones. Naethyn was going to end this with a technique he knew would be most effective on the Sharingan wielder.

One of the clones quickly performed the Light Release: Temporary Blindness. This technique was being used quite differently then how Naethyn originally planned on using it. He beamed the light into the area around Kaze Uchiha, the technique was made out of light and because Naethyn's light release did not need handseals it was almost instant. The Light beamed at Kaze while he was sheathing his sword. Kaze would be wrapped in Light which would expose his eight Sharingan pupils to a vast amount of light that they would contract after being almost completely dilated. His eyes would be useless for more then just a few moments. The jutsu would were off as soon as it was used but then the complete darkness would cause his eyes to bleed, or maybe even cause him to go into a state of cardiac arrest.

Naethyn fell to the ground with a noticable thud. The clone casting the jutsu was soon puffed into smoke from casting the jutsu. The second was preparing another jutsu.

Description: This technique requires the knowledge and knowing of the parent jutsu known as Light Release: Light Manipulation. This is one of the greater techniques of the Light Release. This technique creates a Light Release Clone which will reflect the light that is bouncing on that particular object or person at the moment to create an indentical clone. The clone is made of physical properties, ie light. However because Light isn't tangible like Water or Fire would be this clone can cast a jutsu without being interupted, however the downside to this technique is that the clone is only good for one ability, whether it be Genjutsu, Ninjutsu, Fuuinjutsu, etc. The clone dissipates and leaves a small white trail of light.

After Naethyn tried to blind him with light, his reflexes instantly kicked in and he closed his eyes. However, he knew that doing this wasn't going to work, as the light was too great. So Kaze pulled his headband over his eyes, sealing them away from the bright light. To suprise Naet and give himself room, he slashed around at Naet with his scythe. At the same time, Kaze had used a wind jutsu in conjuction with his scythe. Kaze twirled in a circle, like he was practicing for ballet class; spinning fast like a human top. (The wind jutsu ends here.) He calmed himself, and emptied his thoughts, then focused himself to use his other four senses to guide him. Naet had a strange scent, and he heard as Naet landed with a *thump*. Using him mind, Kaze caculated Naet's location from the direction of the sound. He also located the clone by listening to the sound of his hands, as he prepared another jutsu. Kaze created a raven clone, but being blinded by the light so badly, it dispersed into a flock of ravens. However, instead of flying back to wherever they came from, they began to peck and claw at Naethyn. They seemed to be ignoring the bright light, as it could be since birds happen to see the sun everyday of their lives; or it might be an illusion. He figured Naethyn would do this, as it was a signiture move. Good thing Kaze had been working on a counter technique just in case. "Nice move, Naethyn. But since it seems you have the advantage at the moment, I would do the smart thing and back down for now. I will find you, but don't worry, I wouldn't dare to kill you--yet." Kaze had finished his handseals, and a cold breeze began to stir. But of course, this was only a distraction. Kaze then dispersed into a shower leaves, and vanished from the scene. {Exit}

Naethyn was infuriated with Kaze Uchiha. He was a bastard, a damn smart one at that. Naethyn gave him no credit to his actual fighting talent as his strategy was always a mutation of his first. Nothing ever changes. Kaze sent out ravens. Naethyn knew what these could do. They would merely attack him as Kaze ranted and escaped.

Kaze slashed at Naethyn in which Naethyn prepared himself by substituting himself with his clone with was left unharmed due to its intangible nature however the birds which possessed odd qualities tore through it as it vanished with a puff of white smoke.

Naethyn walked off as as Kaze was leaving and then hastily began running implimenting chakra into his steps he would get to Iwagakure before nightfall tomorrow.
