    Because without it,
    maybe we just wouldn't feel real.
    What's that saying?
    Why do I keep hitting myself

    I really doubt anyone likes pain. Feeling real would still imply without it, actually i believe some people would rather live without it. The whole, hammer hitting, and feeling good is iffy o-o...

    But anyways i guess this is creative in some odd way.

    Without pain you can't understand true feelings... And i don't literally mean that i hit myself with a hammer. And i said it feels good when i stop, meaning it feels good when the pain ends...

    Anyway, i just wrote something, i don't obligate anyone to like it.

    Just a little sense to throw into the poetic mix...
    It's called masochism, Null. There are people who do enjoy pain.

    Poetically, I got the message loud and clear, your symbolism and word choice were good(speaking as a fellow poet, though I'm not entirely sure if this is supposed to be a poem, it doesn't seem to be prose). I liked it, though, as with all writing pieces, there's room for improvement ^^

    I am not a masochist. I didn't literally mean that i would take a hammer and start hitting myself. I talked about anyone. And for my "poetry" skills... i never said i am a poet. This isn't actually a poem. I just wrote it because there was a reason that gave me inspiration. That's all...
