Jubaku no Jutsu
(Tree Restraints Technique) Through the use of this technique, the user can summon long, flexible strands of wood to either come up from the ground or from their hand and wrap around the target, restraining them, catching them, or whatever. They can be tightened enough to hold but not to do damage. [D-rank]

Moku Bunshin no Jutsu
(Wood Clone Technique) Through the use of this technique, the user is capable of causing beams of wood to come from their own body and create a perfect copy of themselves made of wood. The clone has all the same physical attributes as the user and is capable of using the user’s level of Mokuton and Mokuton techniques. A strong hit will cause the clone to shatter. Also, the clone disappears should the user act. Any chakra that the clone uses comes from the user. [C-rank]

Moku Shouheki no Jutsu
(Wood Barrier Technique) Through the use of this technique, the user will cause beams of wood to emerge from the ground. The beams can converge to form a half spherical barrier to deflect an incoming blast. The barrier has strong defense against physical attacks, but not so much against energy or chakra attacks. [C-rank]

Shichuurou no Jutsu
(Four Pillar Prison Technique) Through the use of this technique, the user causes beams of wood to emerge from the ground. These beams will converge and combine to form a prison. The size and durability of the prison depends on how much chakra the user wants to put out to it. [C-rank]

Daijurin no Jutsu
(Great Forest Technique) Through the use of this technique, the user will extend a number of planks that form into spikes at the end toward their opponent. The spikes are surprisingly flexible and can snake toward the opponent. Though not its main intended use, the spikes can also function as a good defensive technique. The amount and length of spikes depends on how much the user puts into the technique. [B-rank]

Shichuuka no Jutsu
(Four Pillar Home Technique) Through the use of this technique, the user is capable of calling planks forth from the ground to converge into a dwelling of the user’s choosing. The dwelling resembles an actual house, complete with rooms, doors, floors, and everything else a normal home would consist of… making the user a PRIME carpenter in every sense of the word… LOTS of money to be made with this technique. And aside from the technique’s… economical leverage… the house serves as a structure crafted from Mokuton, thus giving the user a solid advantage against anyone else in there since Mokuton can be used to manipulate the entire house after it is erected. Jukai Koutan
(Birth of Dense Woodland) Through the use of this technique, the user can cause a HUGE growth of trees and branches to grow from the ground and be manipulated in any way he wants… usually being used to restrict and crush the target. This technique is very chakra costly and has a huge area of effect. A single use could be enough to create an entire forest. [S-rank]

Doton: Chihou no Jutsu
(Earth Compass Technique) Through the use of this simple technique, the user flows their chakra into a small rock. Once done, they drop it on the ground, the chakra in the rock causing it to always gravitate toward magnetic north. Very useful for when lost and without a compass. [E-Rank]

Doton: Doryuu Hibi no Jutsu
("Earth Cracker Technique") The user stomps the ground, creating a cracked surface and a small pit beneath, useful for tripping some opponents or digging quick holes to hide traps in. [D-Rank]

Doton : Shuriken no Jutsu
("Shuriken Technique") The ability to turn basic dirt into shuriken. [D-Rank]

Doton : Tsuchiken
("Stone Fist") The user dips his hands in thick mud, which then harden with chakra to become dry and rock hard, giving the user fists that are almost as hard as stone. Cannot use hand seals. (Note: Recommended using one hand only) [D-Rank]

Doton : Katou Chirikire
("Flexible Dirt Strips") The ninja can create highly durable bands out of dirt. They emerge from the ground and fly in any direction guided by the ninja. The width, and density, of the dirt bands can vary depending on how much chakra is used. Katou Chirikire is more useful as a supplementary and defense technique then as an attack technique. [D-Rank]

Doton : Genwakudoro no Jutsu
("Sticky Mud Technique") Through the use of this technique, the user scoops up a handful of mud and channels chakra into it to make it into a sticky substance. The sticky mud has the consistency of a strong glue and will hold up (or down) nearly anything depending on how much chakra is spent. The technique can be used to “melt” down solid rock into sticky mud, but this use requires more chakra. [D-Rank]

Doton no Jutsu
("Earth Release") Doton no Jutsu, the act of using the earth elements, allows the ninja to go into the earth and hide from his opponents. The ninja can only attack if their entire torso is above ground. (Note: Do not confuse this with "Doton Shijuu Zanshu" where its purpose is to draw your body underground and leave you immobile, while your head is visible) [D-Rank]

Kondaku Henkan
("Muddiness Transformation") This simple technique allows the user to quickly transform a patch of earth into mud, or a mud patch into solid earth. Note that it's more difficult to make mud in dry areas, or solid earth in wet areas. (Note: Takes more chakra if defying climate) [D-Rank]

Bakuhatsu Seizoroi
("Explosion Array") By doing the nessicary hand seals and punching the ground, this jutsu can blast anything upwards within a ten foot circular range of the ground targetted, including dirt, rocks, or anyone inside. Since this jutsu's effects aren't lethal (though the resultant fall might be), it can be used to knock targets unconscious and capture them. In addition, the pillars of displaced dirt and rocks can be used to hide from or blind the target. There is a chance that nearby party members or hired help will also be blasted, but there's little chance they'll perish, so, in a way, there's no need to worry when using this jutsu. Of course, there's no harm in exercising caution, either. [C-Rank]

Doton: Dochuu Eigyo
("Underground Fish Projection") A Ninjutsu technique utilizing the Earth Element. With this, a user will utilize multiple clones to confuse their enemy, then attack their target from the shadows by throwing shuriken or kunai to correspond with the clones' attacks, or by using Earth Release to sink into the ground, occasionally resurfacing to attack. [C-Rank]

Doton: Doro Bunshin no Jutsu
("Mud Clone Technique") This creates a replication of the user out of mud. It isnt useful as a decoy, but can attack. [C-Rank]

Doton: Doro Saafingu Jutsu
("Mud Surfing Jutsu") Used with Doton Doryuu Taiga or any rolling mud, the user can maintain balance and travel down the river surface. [C-Rank]

Doton : Doroku Gaeshi
("Earth Type: Upside-Down Mud Wall") A Doton (earth type) Ninjutsu technique where the ninja strikes the ground with their hands and a large wall of earth will rise into place as defense. The defense is not perfect though, a hard or drilling impact can puncture the wall. [C-Rank]

Doton : Doryuu Atsuennami
("Earth Rolling Wave") The user slams the ground, making the ground bulge like a wave and move along the earth for a short distance, defending the user and attacking the enemy. (Need high strength) [C-Rank]

Doton : Doryuu Shinko
("Earth Rising") The ability to make some earth rise in front of the user. This can be a defensive technique, or combo-ed with some of the other jutsu that relies on dirt. (note: Can only raise half their bodies mass of earth.) [C-Rank]

Doton: Doryuu Taiga
("Earth Flow River") - Doryuu Taiga is a Ninjutsu technique utilizing the Earth Element. The ninja will do the necessary hand seals and transform the ground upon which the enemy stands into a river of mud. [C-Rank]

Doton: Kirehari no jutsu
("Strip Spikes") The useful attack technique of the aforementioned Chirikire jutsu. After using Katou Chirikire, the ninja can change handseals, causing thin or wide spikes to protrude out of the bands and shoot out. [C-Rank]

Doton: Kodorou no Jutsu
("Earth Release - Rising Earth Prison Technique") A ninjutsu in which the user preforms the necessary handseals and then slams their palms upon the ground. A rectangular prison, complete with a ceiling, will rise and form around the targeted individuals. The ground is charged with the users chakra, making it extremely dense and negating any jutsu used to travel through earth. The walls and ceiling are also extremely dense. If the caster removes their hands from the spot on the ground where the jutsu is initiated, the jutsu is broken. [C-Rank]

Doton: Koudokasui no Jutsu
("Earth Release - Rising Earth Spike Technique") A simple yet effective jutsu. After casting the necessary seals, the user slams their hands on the ground. A single sharpened construct of earth will rise in front of the target, aiming to impale them. Higher level ninja may form multiple spikes, but will suffer greater chakra usage by doing so. [C-Rank]

Doton: Shinjuu Zanshu no Jutsu
This ninjutsu isn't a widely used technique, since it is only used when surprising the enemy. After performing a series of hand seals and raising his chakra, the ninja is buried underground using his chakra. He can then move freely inside the ground, as if he was outside. (Note: Canon-wise, the grade is officially "D", but we're going to make it C for the board) [C-Rank]

Doton: Shuuran Haji no Jutsu
("Earth Type: Grasping Ribbons Technique") A skill where the user channels his/her chakra through the ground, forcing earth farther away to rise up in thick ribbons. The skill is mainly used to grab an opponents legs, and can be controlled as to where the earth rises up. [C-Rank]

Chou Bakuhatsu Seizoroi
("Super Explosion Array") The damage from this jutsu doesn't differ significantly from that of Bakuhatsu Seizoroi, but the area of effect has increased, making it possible to attack even more targets. Since the amount of dirt which flies up has increased, the jutsu's ability to cloud the visibility of opponents has also increased. The increased area of effect also means that party members have a greater chance of being victims of this jutsu, but hesitation in battle usually means losing anyways. [B-Rank]

Dango Dotonidoryo
(Mud Cannonball) AKA Doryou Dango - Mausoleum Earth Dumpling An earth elemental attack in which the user uses chakra to grasp a huge amount of land mass, and then forms it into a huge boulder and then hurls it at the enemy. (Note: Needs high strength as a requirement) [B-Rank]

Doroudomo Doten Kekkai
("Earth Barrier Clay Prison") A earth elemental ninjutsu attack in which the user pummels his hands into the ground and forms a dome around the enemy. The dome is a prison, reinforced by the user's chakra; the chakra flow and strength of the earth walls are weaker farther away from the user. The weakened areas offer the best chance for the dome's prisoners to break loose. [B-Rank]

Doryuudan
("Earth Dragon Projectile") Doton Doryuudan is a Ninjutsu technique utilizing the Earth Element. The ninja will do the necessary hand seals and create a dragon from the river of mud made after using the Doryuu Taiga technique. This dragon will then spew mud projectiles from its mouth. [B-Rank]

Doton Doryuuheki
("Earth Element - Earth Rising Wall") Doton Doryuu Heki is a defensive Ninjutsu technique utilizing the Earth Element. The ninja will do the necessary hand seals and then spew a line of mud onto the ground. The mud will then grow into a large mud wall to help defend against incoming attack. [B-Rank]

Doton Kazangan Taiga
("River Lava of Earth") Using mud, the user uses their chakra to form the mud into molten lava, forming a river, depending on how much mud is used. [B-Rank]

Doton: Setsunai Daichi no Jutsu
("Earth Type: Strangling Earth Technique) This jutsu builds off of the Doton: Shuuran Haji no jutsu. But rather than using the tendrils of earth to trap ankles or limbs, the ribbons are used solely to strangle the foe. (Note: Requires Shuuran Haji no Jutsu) [B-Rank]

Iwayado Kuzushi
("Cave-in Crusher") The user slams a tall wall or cliff, causing it to break apart and cause an avalanche. Similiar to filler jutsu "Iwa Nadare". Iwa Yado Kuzushi is a manga tech. [B-Rank]

Jishin
("Earthquake") With several hand seals, the jutsu user places his/her hand on the ground and sends out a pulse, which then causes something like an earthquake within a certain area. The shaking is strong enough to destroy a building or to seal the entrance to a cave. This spell doesn't attack living beings directly, but can be used to kill target(s) if used correctly. [B-Rank

Doton: Domu (Earth Release: Earth Spear) The user flows chakra through all parts of their body, which hardens their skin to a steel-like quality. This increases their defensive power to the utmost limits. The user's skin becomes much darker, an almost black color. Furthermore, the destructive power of physical attacks is increased, making this a great all-purpose technique. The amount of techniques that can break through the areas hardened by the Earth Spear are close to zero,

Doton Assai Ago no Jutsu
("Crushing Jaw Technique") The user slams the earth, making a large fissure appear suddenly, dropping an enemy or two in, before slamming it again, cause the walls to crush the enemies as they slowly come back to normal. [A-Rank]

Doton Karyoku no Jutsu
("Volcanic Earth Skill") An earth type move in the ninja uses chakra to cause the earth near them to erupt. Anything the lava touches instantly burns. [A-Rank]

Ishi Kasui
("Stone Spiker") A powerful and effective Jutsu in which numerous large stone spears rush out of the ground. This is done by gathering chakra in one's hand and slamming that hand against the ground, which causes the layers underneath the ground to shift. Since this jutsu also causes a small earthquake, any target whose feet are on the ground will have a hard time dodging this attack. [A-Rank]

Tsuin Doton Doragon
("Twin Earth Dragon") The user creates two dragons from earth and sends them at their enemy. The earth dragon is more damaging than the Water Dragon Missile due to the fact that its made out of rock that's further enforced with chakra, although the attack can be blasted through with a lightning jutsu or defended against with another earth jutsu. [A-Rank]

Suiton: Betabeta no Jutsu
("Water Element: Sticky Water Technique") The user will perform the necessary handseals and spit a small amount of water in the opponents face. Once it makes contact with the target it will turn into a sticky mucus that’s relatively difficult to remove. If aimed properly this technique can suffocate the target. [D-Rank]

Suiton: Deshio no Jutsu
("Water Element: High Tide Technique") After the necessary handseals have been performed the user will focus their chakra and cause nearby lakes, rivers or oceans to rise up. The amount of water affected and how high the water will rise depends on the amount of chakra invested in the technique. [D - A Rank]

Suiton: Katsutai no Jutsu
("Water Element: Slippery Body Technique") Through the use of this technique, the user is able to secrete a type of oily water from their skin, making it very slippery. This technique is very useful for slipping through tight places, out of restraints, and out of peoples’ grasps. [D-Rank]

Suiton: Mizu Hosui no Jutsu
("Water Element: Water Hose Technique") The user will perform a series of handseals and then fire a continuous stream of water from their mouth. This can be used to put out fires, cleanse wounds, cool others off and counter fire techniques. Higher ranking Shinobi can invest more chakra in the technique and fire it as a powerful beam of water that can hit the target with a great impact, capable of canceling out high ranking fire techniques. [D - A Rank]

Suiton: Mizu Kunai no Jutsu
("Water Element: Water Kunai Skill") User forms water into the shape of kunai/shuriken in sets of three or more to be thrown at their opponents. These water shuriken/kunai perform just like normal projectile weapons in terms of accuracy and damage capacity, but several seconds after impacting the target or enemy they revert back to normal water. [D-Rank]

Suiton: Mizu Nankan no Jutsu
("Water Element: Water Barrier") Through gaining an understanding of how chakra may be used to affect or create water, the user of this technique develops a method to counteract the process. This technique creates a personal barrier around the user, causing chakra-affected water that strikes it to disperse and evaporate. If the technique that this barrier attempts to counteract is equal in rank or lower than the barrier, then all of the water is dispersed, but techniques of a higher rank will only partially be affected. This technique requires a constant flow of chakra to maintain, and higher ranks increase proportionally in cost. [D - A Rank, user must specialize in water ninjutsu]

Suiton: Mizu no Ai
("Water Element: Water Love") This is a technique known to almost all Shinobi from the Water Country. Once the user has performed the required handseals, they will be capable of turning their own chakra into water. This is a technique that allows lower ranking Shinobi to become capable of using water techniques without nearby water sources. Stronger Shinobi are capable of using this technique in a more chakra efficient manner. [D - A Rank]

Suiton: Mizu Shuriken no Jutsu
("Water Element: Water Shuriken Technique") This technique uses nearby water in the same way as mizu bunshin clones, only forming them into throwing stars. They do little damage, being just water, but they can be launched while throwing a real shuriken to confuse the opponent as to the real one. [D-Rank]

Suiton: Mizu Tzume no Jutsu
("Water Element: Water Claw Technique") A very simply jutus where the user will perform a series of hand seals, focus chakra into their hands then put them down in to the water. Two gloves of water will envelop their hands, these gloves have claws attached to them which can be used to cut the user's opponent. [D-Rank]

Suiton: Sakana Misairu no Jutsu
("Water Element: Fish Missile Technique") The user performs a series of hand seals and focuses his chakra a little. Then small fish made out of water will rise up from a nearby source and fly at the target. These will strike with moderate impact and daze weaker targets for a short while. This is basically a much weaker version of Kisame's shark missile technique. [D-Rank]

Suiton: Shuuho Mizu no Jutsu
("Water Element: Repairing Water Technique") This is a basic technique known to most Swordsmen of the mist. They will perform a series of hand seals and then place their weapon of choice in the water. Water will then fill any cracks and temporarily repair the weapon to its former glory. The jutsu’s duration depends on how much chakra used. Genin would only be capable of restoring kunai and smaller weapons, and so on. [D - A Rank]

Suiton: Suiei no Jutsu
("Water Element: Swimming Technique") The user concentrates chakra into his/her feet, spinning the chakra in a Rasengan-esque way. The spinning chakra acts as a propeller, dramatically increasing the user's speed while swimming underwater. Requires good chakra control. [D-Rank]

Suiton: Hari Ame
("Water Element: Needle Rain") The user creates a large bubble of water from a nearby source and sends it flying into the air. When the user commands it to, the bubble pops and sends water falling all around like rain. The user then completes the hand signs and the water droplets turn into sharp needles, not unlike the Mizu Senbon no Jutsu, only smaller. [C-Rank]

Suiton: Ijou Shikke
("Water Element: Surrounding Moisture") This a technique somewhat similar to Mizu No Ai. Instead of using their own chakra to produce water, the Shinobi will use surrounding moisture and use that when performing water techniques. Higher ranking Shinobi are capable of creating water out of almost anything, while Chuunin are only capable of doing it near trees, plants and such. Can NOT absorb liquid from living beings. [C - A Rank]

Suiton: Ken Mizu no Jutsu
("Water Element: Blades of Water Technique") A technique used in with any normal style sword weapon. Water beings to encompass the blade of the weapon(s), then the user is able to swing single or multiple times with each separate attack releasing a razor sharp edge of curved water toward an single opponent or group of attackers. [C-Rank]

Suiton: Kenkukai
("Water Element: Summoning Ground Water") Another of several simple water techniques utilized to supply a ninja who specializes with water jutsu with the water they need. This jutsu summons water sealed away in the area. In an urban environment the technique calls water from underground pipping or even overhead sprinkler systems,. A powerful ninja using this on a street might cause fire hydrants to erupt and water mains to burst for instance. [C-Rank]

Suiton: Mizu Bunshin no Jutsu
("Water Element: Water Replication Technique") Creates one or multiple identical copies of the user out of water. More similar to Shadow Clone than to a Normal Clone, Water Clones are capable of attacking, except each Clone's strength is only one tenth of the power of the original. Also, the clone can only be controlled within a certain radius of the user. [C-Rank]

Suiton: Mizu Dageki
("Water Element: Water Strike") A water technique in which the user uses chakra to gather up water around one of their fists and uses it to strike their opponent. The chakra can be condensed around the shape of the water and used to make the strike as hard as a steel block if needed, but more chakra is needed the harder you make the strike. The water and chakra is automatically released once the Jutsu has struck the opponent. [C-Rank]

Suiton: Mizu Denpatanchiki no Jutsu
("Water Element: Water Radar Technique") After performing the necessary handseals the user will place his or her hands on water’s surface and close their eyes. The user will then become capable of sensing nearby opponents on or in the water. Genin will be able to sense other people up to 200 meters away, Chuunin 500, Jounin+ 2km. [C - A Rank]

Suiton: Mizu no Hoippu
("Water Element: Whip of Water") Aka: Mizu no Muchi. A long sinuous form of water wraps itself around the user, and functions as a powerful whip. Being a weapon of variable shape, the whip can easily be edged and pointed, gaining cutting and piercing ability when needed. The whip is controlled through will and chakra alone, and does not require the user to manually "hold" the whip to use it. It does however, still depend on conscious thought to function. [C-Rank]

Suiton: Mizu no Tatsumaki
("Water Element: Tornado of Water") Mizu no Tatsumaki is a Ninjutsu technique that utilizes water to create a spinning water vortex around the ninja. The water acts both as a barrier and attack mechanism. The power of the vortex is enough to knock an opponent unconscious. [C-Rank]

Suiton: Mizu Senbon no Jutsu
("Water Element: Water Needle Skill") The user performs the hand signs and holds his hands in a triangle with the fingers and thumbs touching. A needle made out of water forms in the triangle, and is then shot at very high speeds. It is fully capable of going straight through a tree, but will turn back into normal water after it stops moving. The needle may range in length from 6 inches to a foot long. [C-Rank]

Suiton: Mizu Yari no Jutsu
("Water Element: Water Spear Skill") A jutsu which creates a large spear of water about 2-4 inches in diameter and approximately ten feet in length, which can easily pierce through hard rock or even impale a individual/target. [C-Rank]

Suiton: Mizuame Nabara
("Water Element: Entrapping Syrup Field") The ninja forms the appropriate hand seals and spews a jet of water from their mouth at an angle towards the ground. The water quickly glides across the ground, spreading outward and becoming a glossy surface on the terrain. The water has unique properties, however, and responds at the force of an impact by becoming adhesive. Any hapless enemies who walk over the liquid will find themselves unable to lift their legs and in a sticky situation. [C-Rank]

Suiton: Mizukuri no Yaiba
("Water Element: Sword of Water") By utilizing water to create a weapon, the user is able to create a sword of water which is capable of piercing and slashing just like a normal sword. Its length and shape can be varied by the amount of chakra used. [C-Rank]

Suiton: Suijinheki
("Water Element: Water Barrier Wall") A Suiton Ninjutsu technique where the ninja uses already existing water and raises it around them in a circular barrier completely around them. Only extremely powerful ninjas (like Kages) can use this technique without available water. [C-Rank]

Suiton: Suirou no Jutsu
("Water Element: Prison Technique") A move used to trap the victim inside a virtually inescapable prison of water. The only downside to this technique is that the user must keep one arm inside the bubble at all times in order for the victim to remain imprisoned. This jutsu cannot be performed without a sufficiently large body of water to supply the water for it. (Note: Momochi Zabuza style = Person is simply trapped inside of the water bubble. They can still move and breathe, but for some reason they are unable to utilize seal-necessary jutsu.) [C-Rank]

Suiton: Teppoudama
("Water Element: Bullet") A Ninjutsu technique utilizing the Water Element. After forming the necessary hand seal, the user manifests a large amount of water in their mouth which they can then spit at his opponent as a large spherical projectile. [C-Rank]

Suiton: Ensui no Jutsu
("Water Element: Water Sword Jutsu") This jutsu turns water into a single sharp blade which cuts through practically anything. This is done by micro water blades running along the weapon's edge constantly, giving it superior cutting force. However, this jutsu can only be done where there is a lot of water as it takes much to compress into a usable blade. [B-Rank]

Suiton: Kyo Uzumaki no Jutsu
("Water Element: Large Whirlpool Technique") After having performed the needed hand seals, the ninja will focus for a second and a whirlpool will appear in the water. Anyone situated near the whirlpool will be pulled under water. It has a very strong pull and while it doesn’t do any particular damage, it’s very difficult to resist being pulled in. [B-Rank]

Suiton: Kyuukyoku Shippuu
("Water Element: Ultimate Squall") Forms one or more gigantic tornado(s) of water. The squall can be directed by the user, but he can not really control it. Though usually has to be preformed on or near by a large body of water unless preformed by a extremely powerful ninja. [B-Rank]

Suiton: Mizu Bakemono no Jutsu
("Water Element: Water Monster Technique") The user will perform a series of handseals and then create various creatures out of a nearby water source. These creatures normally possess great strength and when injured they can reform at the cost of a little chakra. While they cost a moderate amount to produce they are relatively chakra efficient when it comes to maintaining the jutsu. Reforming limbs and such only requires a small portion of chakra. They can only move around 30 feet away from any source of water before turning into water again. They cannot perform jutsu themselves but can strangle opponents by forcing themselves down their very throats. Vulnerable to earth techniques. [B-Rank]

Suiton: Mizu no Haakushu
("Water Element: Grasping Hands of Water") Hands of water are formed out of some source of water. The hands are primarily used to pull someone under the source of water that they are coming from. The hands are still connected to their source of water by the arms, so they can only move as far away as the amount of water in the source. It is hard to destroy the hands or arms because since they are just water most things pass right through. [B-Rank]

Suiton: Mizu Shokushu no Jutsu
("Water Element: Water Tentacle Technique") After having performed the necessary hand seals the user will place his hands on the water. A number from 1 to 6 tentacles will rise up from the water, depending on how much chakra the user pours into it. These can be used to strangle, punch and drown his opponents with. The downside is that the user can't do anything else while controlling the tentacles. Moving will instantly disperse them. [B-Rank]

Suiton: Suiryuudan no Jutsu
("Water Element: Water Dragon Blast Skill") A powerful attack that creates a huge current of water in the shape of a dragon, which is sent towards the opponent. Except when used by extremely powerful ninjas, this Jutsu can only be done when in or near a body of water. [B-Rank]

Suiton: Suishuuha
("Water Element: Water Wave") A technique which creates a huge tidal wave that can crush an opponent if pinned against something or possible drown them in a confined space. Usually used to flood the battle field with water thought. Except when used by extremely powerful ninjas, this Jutsu can only be done when in or near a body of water. [B-Rank]

Suiton: Tetsu Suitama
("Water Element: Iron Water Bullet") As long as there is contact with water, the user can manipulate it using their chakra to form bullets as strong as steel. And by drawing their fingers in the same form as shooting a bow, they can fire them at deadly velocities. Some users, however, tends to substitute water with their own blood to fashion these bullets. [B-Rank]

Suiton: Yuuhei no Jutsu
("Water Element: Confinement Technique") A move used to trap the victim inside a virtually inescapable prison of water. The only downside to this technique is that the user must keep one arm inside the bubble at all times in order for the victim to remain imprisoned. This Jutsu cannot be performed without a sufficiently large body of water to supply the water for it. (Note: Hoshigaki Kisame style = A water ball. The person is trapped, has difficulty moving, and cannot breathe.) [B-Rank]

Suiton: Bakuretsu Mizu Bunshin no Jutsu
("Water Element: Exploding Water Clone Technique") After creating it, the ninja can cause the clone to remotely detonate and explode in combat or the clone will detonate when destroyed (one direct hit), taking anyone immediately surrounding it out. Is similar to Bakuretsu Kage Bunshin no Jutsu ("Exploding Shadow Clone Technique") in power and has the same abilities as normal water clones. [A-Rank]

Suiton: Daibakufu no Jutsu
("Water Element: Eruption Skill") A Jutsu which creates a huge cyclone turned on its side, which is sent towards the target. This Jutsu can only be done when in or near a body of water, and is devastatingly powerful. It can easily rip tree roots from the Earth and suck large debris into itself. Weapons can also be hidden inside the cyclone for a secondary attack. [A-Rank]

Suiton: Kyodai Uzumaki no Jutsu Credit to Kris
("Water Element: Gigantic Whirlpool Technique") The user performs the necessary hand seals and focuses their chakra. Then several large whirlpools will form in the nearby water and suck opponents and nearby objects into them. This will normally drown them relatively quickly and the pressure is almost impossible to resist. Anything not rooted down, latching onto something within 50 feet radius is in danger of being sucked in. [A-Rank]

Suiton: Mizu Bakuhatsu no Jutsu
("Water Element: Water Explosion Skill") Causes all extra water in the area to in fact explode, which can cause severe damage to anyone in the radius of the explosion area at the time of detonation. [A-Rank]

Buki Houjin
("Weapon Sealing") Weapon Sealing is a Fuuinjutsu technique that allows the ninja to seal away nearby weapons. After unrolling a scroll to hold the weapons, the ninja writes the needed sealing incantation onto the scroll. Then by forming the needed handseals, a vapor will emanate from the scroll to encompass the weapons and take it back to the scroll for sealing. (Note: Supplementary type. Cannot be used against attacks. Only with stationary weapons.) [D-Rank]

Busata Fuuin
("Silence Seal") To be effective, at least three such seals have to be placed. When active, they protect the area between them (4 per 4 meters at most.) preventing sounds from getting out. Loud noises will still be audible but muffled while normal speech will not be heard outside. This allows people within the seal to have conversations without a fear of being eavesdropped on. Sounds from outside the sealed area are normally audible inside. The effect lasts for about half an hour, unless the user spends about 10 minutes and more chakra to make the effect semi-permanent. (that is, lasting until the tags are removed or made unreadable. A more lasting effect can be achieved by writing/cutting the fuuinjutsu directly on the walls) [D-Rank]

Heiso Kajou Houjin
("Ordinary Item Sealing") A fuuinjutsu that allows a ninja to seal away nearby noncombat items. This can range from rocks, to sticks, to even food. And of course there's a wide range of things that can be stored for future use. That is what somebody would realize if they ever went to his house. Anything and everything that he uses is in a scroll. That helps maintain the look of a clean house. Not only that, but it takes much less space due to the scrolls holding everything. [D-Rank]

Himei Kyuusho
("Hidden Writing") This technique allows a ninja to create a permanent inscription on an object (or even a person), that will be invisible until specific conditions are met. These can be a specific chemical ingredient, touching the object in the correct manner or using chakra in a specific way. (Ninja information cards are an example of this last version) A ninja who knows this technique can "decode" the writing hidden by other shinobi, as long as he is of higher level and knows of the inscription's existence in the first place. [D-Rank]

Jou no In
("Locking Seal") Through the use of this technique, the user puts a seal on an object that has a lock, making it unlockable by any means, including a key. This is used on mostly small or portable objects, but it can be used to help fortify something larger with a lock, like a door. This technique can also work the opposite way, functioning to open locks, even sealed locks. [D-Rank]

Karuto no Tayori
("Cards of Information") A ninjutsu technique where the ninja takes simple, black deck cards and embeds information on them with chakra. The information could be about anything from shinobi countries to the shinobi themselves. Once the information is embedded in the card, it becomes blank, only to become visible again when the ninja reveals it with their chakra. [D-Rank]

Kouhan - Shuriken
("Advanced Seal Shuriken") Upon completion of the seal needed for this technique, the user places the seal on a surface. Once the seal is in place, a single handseal from the user causes the seal to erupt at any time, sending several shuriken at the specified opponent. [D-Rank]

Kouhan - Waikire
("Advanced Seal Slicing Wire") Upon completion of the seal needed for this technique, the user places the seal on a surface. Once the seal is in place, a single handseal from the user causes the seal to erupt at any time, sending several very thin lengths of wire at the specified target(s). Once the wires are wrapped around a target, the begin to tighten and cut into the skin. However, the wires are rather easily broken. If several of the wire seals are activated from different places, wrapping around the user from different angles, then the wires are quite capable of binding the enemy to their spot. [D-Rank]

Kouken fuuin
("Guarding Seal") These seals may be used to guard any area as long as they are no further than 4 meters from each other (They need to be placed all around the guarded area.) As long as the caster remains within, he will be notified (woken up if he is asleep) each time something with more chakra than a dog crosses the line. When the caster leaves the area, or one of the seals is removed, the effect ends. It is possible to bypass the line through flight or burrowing as long as the intruder doesn’t come closer than 4 meters to any of the seals. [D-Rank]

Shuuhaijin
("Message Carrier") Using this technique, the user speaks a message to the seal, which it records. The message can be of any length. The user then designates a specific chakra signature to activate the seal, and it will recite the message when the person with the specified chakra signature touches it. Once the message is complete, the user will be warned regardless of present location, as the link is broken, and the seal with crumble into a fine powder. [D-Rank]

Teiryoku no In
("Energy Anchor Seal") Through the use of this technique, the user puts a seal on an object in order to add extra weight to it. The extra weight is typically 10 time its current weight, but can be increased up to 100x with use of more chakra. The effect lasts until the seal is removed. [D-Rank]

Tsuyome no In
("Strengthening Seal") This seal can be inscribed onto an object, weapon, or armor, effectively making the weapon unbreakable by any normal means. [D-Rank]

Uwakimono fuuin
("Heat Seal") A variation of an exploding tag. Instead of actually exploding, it releases its energy over time, producing heat and/or light. Can be used as a light source, wrapped around a lunchbox to keep the food warm or even be kept under the user's clothes to protect him from bad weather. [D-Rank]

Yure Kai
("Vibration Release") A basic seal-augmentation method. The user forms special markings around the seal to affect the nature of its release. The markings will be activated at any point by a small amount of the user's chakra. Once set, the markings will forcefully release the seal if they sense the slightest vibration. Useful for setting traps. [D-Rank]

Kashoku no In Credit
("Bright Light Seal") This seal is designed to provide easily stored illumination where there is little room or where open flames would be an unwise idea. This seal; when activated; will provide a steady blue-white light in a directional release from the front of the seal for approximately five minutes or until cancelled. This seal is simple and can be used repeatedly with no ill effects aside from the light being spotted. [D-Rank]

Endan no In
("Smoke Bomb Seal") This seal; when activated; goes off like a large smoke bomb, covering the area in a thick but harmless cloud that is next to impossible to see through. This smoke will hang in the air for three minutes or until blown away by a very strong natural wind or wind jutsu. [D-Rank]

Sairuidan no In
("Tear-gas Bomb Seal") This seal explodes into a thick white cloud of smoke that contains skin and eye irritants. Those caught in this cloud without proper protection will experience a burning sensation in any exposed skin and will quickly have their sight overwhelmed due to the substances in the smoke. This cloud dissipates in approximately thirty seconds. The effects can be reversed by the application of water. [D-Rank]

Batsu Ippuku
("Attack Scroll") A more advanced variation of an equipment scroll, it is modified in such a way that when activated, the contents of the scroll will be forcefully ejected. This allows a faster attack (as the user only needs to open the scroll towards the enemy and doesn't have to throw the projectiles himself) and as such it is often used by projectile specialists. It is also frequently used in traps and puppet building. (requires Kuchiyose Tobigou) [C-Rank]

Elemental Seal Inscription
A personal jutsu created by Reimi after much trial and error, this allows her to use her own blood to inscribe the elemental barriers onto a blank tag. This is done by either using the element herself or receiving assistance in doing so, then sealing said element into the tag to create the barrier. [C-Rank]

- Earth Seal Barrier
The earth seal barrier is a special form of fuuinjutsu. By taking a tag written in the user's blood and attaching it to a person or object, they will erect a small barrier around them capable of warding off Earth Jutsu of C-rank or lower. Anything higher than that will only lessen the damage done to an extent. Unfortunately, this only lasts for one jutsu before needing to apply another tag. Cannot be stacked with other barriers. The fire seal barrier is a special form of fuuinjutsu. Gen no In
("Illusion Seal") Through the use of this seal, the user creates the illusion of something that something exists even though it doesnt in reality. At the location where the seal is placed, the user creates the illusion of an object, person, or creature in that location near the placed seal, where in reality there really isnt anything there. To be able to disbelieve the technique, the person witnessing the illusion must either interact with the illusion or be able to identify it as a genjutsu.. This technique, being a ninjutsu, cannot be kaied. Once the seal is detached or destroyed, so is the illusion. [C-Rank]

Issui Houin
("Water Sealing") Issui Houin is a Fuuinjutsu technique that allows the ninja to seal away a nearby water. After unrolling a scroll to hold the water, the ninja writes the needed sealing incantation onto the scroll. Then by forming the needed handseals, a vapor will emanate from the scroll to encompass the water and take it back to the scroll for sealing. (Note: Supplementary type. Cannot be used against water attacks. Only with spreading/surrounding water.) [C-Rank]

Kouhan - Hiraton
("Advanced Seal Pit Release") Upon completion of the seal needed for this technique, the user place the seal on the ground. Once the seal is in place, a single handseal from the user can cause a pit to open up at a location specified by the user. The ground rumbles slightly and it takes a couple of second for the pit to completely open, generally giving anyone within the area plenty of time to get away from it. The pit is about a 10 radius around, and is about 50 feet deep. [C-Rank]

Kouhan - Katon
("Advanced Seal Fire Release") Upon completion of the seal needed for this technique, the user places the seal on a surface or even a person. Once the seal is in place, a single handseal from the user causes a large ball of flame to surround the tag and expand forward, or to just burn around the tag if placed on a person. The flame is of the same strength and duration as the standard Goukakyuu no Jutsu. Another use of this technique allows the user to trigger the fireball to, instead of coming out as one large ball, to break into many smaller balls of fire and cover a larger area and aim at more targets (as the Fire Flower technique). [C-Rank]

Kouhan - Kenton
("Advanced Seal Blade Release") Upon completion of the seal needed for this technique, the user places the seal on a surface. Once the seal is in place, a single handseal from the user causes many rather long blades (about 6) to sprout up in a 5 radius around the seal from whatever surface the seal is placed on. A very brief and very slight tremor in the ground is the only warning before the blades pop up. [C-Rank]

Kouhan - Souren
("Advanced Seal Binding Chains") Upon completion of the seal needed for this technique, the user places the seal on a surface. Once the seal is in place, a single handseal from the user causes one or many lengths of chain of any length to sprout out and toward the target(s), and then the flexible chains stiffen and bind the target(s) where they stand. The amount and length of the chains depends on how much chakra the user puts into the seal. [C-Rank]

Namaroku
("Live Recording") Best used for the purpose of espionage, it allows the user to "seal" nearby sounds into a scroll to be replayed later. The proficiency of the user determines the length of sound that can be recorded into a single scroll. A precise application of chakra can release the sound for listening. The scroll itself will read in gibberish to outsiders, but the symbols are specifically-created for the purpose of the sound recording. [C-Rank]

Tsuchi Houin
("Earth Sealing") Tsuchi Houin is a Fuuinjutsu technique that allows the ninja to seal away a nearby earth/stones. After unrolling a scroll to hold the earth/stones, the ninja writes the needed sealing incantation onto the scroll. Then by forming the needed handseals, a vapor will emanate from the scroll to encompass the earth/rocks and take it back to the scroll for sealing. (Note: Supplementary type. Cannot be used against earth/stone attacks. Only with spreading/surrounding earth/stones.) [C-Rank]

Gasubonbe no In
("Gas Bomb Seal") This seal explodes into a rather powerful knock-out gas cloud. Inhaling this gas will cause near-instant drowsiness, and with a second breath (or one really deep breath) can render the breather unconsious. The gas' effect lasts for approximately an hour, while the cloud will linger for one minute. [C-Rank]

Eki Kanetsu no In
("Liquid Heat Seal") This seal spews a stream of highly unstable flammable liquid in whatever direction it's facing. The fluid's amount is approximately two quarts. This liquid can be ignited by any level fire jutsu or will self-ignite after fifteen seconds of explosure to the air. Using water will cause this liquid to spread. Using earht or sand jutsus can smother the flames. [C-Rank]

Fuuka Houin
("Fire Sealing") Fuuka Houin allows a ninja to seal away a nearby fire. After unrolling a scroll to hold the fire, the ninja writes the needed sealing incantation onto the scroll. Then by forming the needed handseals, a vapor will emanate from the scroll to encompass the fire and take it back to the scroll for sealing. (Note: Supplementary type. Cannot be used against fire attacks - only with spreading/surrounding fire. Jiraiya used this to collect black fire.) [B-Rank]

Fuujiru no Koe
("Sealing the Voice") This practical technique is used by the most skillful for many things: on themselves, to avoid leaking any information when tortured, on a guard, so they cannot cry for help, etc. Once the technique is ready, the users hand will radiate a faint purple aura, a sign that the sealing chakra is in action. By successfully touching the target, the user may seal away the their ability to speak for about an hour. Just as though the vocal cords were missing, the target may not scream, moan, mutter, or make any use of its vocal cords at all. This technique leaves behind a purple seal on the target wherever they were touched. The seal disappears in an hour, allowing the target to talk again, or it can be cut out of the targets skin to remove the effect of the technique. [B-Rank]

Genjutsu kansei
("Genjutsu Trap") This technique allows a ninja to put a genjutsu effect on a piece of paper. It can be written between the lines of whatever else is written there. Anyone who tries to read the message will come under the effect of the genjutsu. The technique wears off after about a month and will affect anyone who tries to read the paper during that time. (just seeing the inscription is not enough. It only works if you actually try to read it.) The effects can vary, from comatosis (commonly used on the scrolls during chuunin exams) to various suggestions (the technique is not powerful enough to cause a suicide but can cause the person to destroy the paper or to firmly believe that the information he read was something different). [B-Rank]

Hanasu no In
("Disruption Seal") This powerful sealing technique is designed to completely scramble the targets chakra pathways and pattern. In other words, the target will have a very hard time using chakra as long as the seal lasts. The seal is placed with a touch, and it will remain on the target for an hour, gradually wearing off every fifteen minutes or so until finally disappearing after an hour. [B-Rank]

Kekkai no In
("Barrier Seal") Using this sealing technique, the user creates an invisible wall that is indestructible through any physical means. The wall cannot be moved, damaged by physical attacks, or altered in any way. The wall is even highly resistant to a lot of jutsu, capable of being pierced by only highly offensive and focused B-rank or stronger techniques and very few C-rank techniques meant specifically for overcoming defenses. As it appears, the barrier is merely a paper seal floating in midair on the users side of the wall. The technique is instantly dispelled if the seal is moved, removed, or destroyed. [B-Rank]

Ketsukai Houjin
("Joint Seal Square Bind") Through the use of this sealing technique, the user places or throws a seal onto one of the targets limbs. The user then forms a half seal and triggers the seal, causing his own chakra to pour from the seal into the targets limb, instantly locking the limb and making it immobile. [B-Rank]

Ninjutsu no Wana
("Ninja Art Trap") With this sealing technique, the user is able to set a trap with any ninjutsu in their arsenal. The technique is sealed within a seal that is very similar to an explosive tag and is triggered in the same way once the target is within the area to be struck by the technique that has been sealed. [B-Rank]

Reiya Fuu
("Layer Method") An advanced Fuuinjutsu skill. The ninja, in order to protect the contents within a seal, will "layer" the seal, placing multiple seals on top of one another. Often, the seals will be made in such a way as to require a specific order of unsealing. Advanced Fuuinjutsu users will create a unique combination nearly impossible for anyone other than themselves or a team of special decoding ninja to undo. [B-Rank]

Shiketsu no In
("Medical Stabilizing Seal") This sealing technique can only be used on a willing target. The sealing technique functions as medical technique without knowledge of the medic-nin arts and is used to stabilize a dying target and keep them alive until further treatment is available. In order to initiate this sealing technique, the user must place a hand upon the targets uncovered head and stomach, channeling a little bit of their own chakra into the target. After this, the user must use a bit of their own blood to draw a fist-sized seal on the targets stomach. Once this is complete, the user performs the needed set of seals and holds their hand above the targets stomach. After a few seconds, the users blood on the targets stomach begins to boil and sizzle like acid, drawing out all of the targets stamina and chakra, causing an agonizing pain that causes the target to pass out. However, the result of the technique causes the target to stabilize and hover on deaths door until further treatment can be given. Even after the effects of the technique wears off, a scar in the form and size of the seal remains on the targets stomach. [B-Rank]

Shintoubomu
("Concussion Bomb") A paper-note will be seemingly discarded at a certain location. Anyone unfortunate enough to get too close to this note will set off the proximity-activated jutsu, which will create a very loud and disorienting blast of sound emanating from the note. It is not physically damaging; however, being near to the note when it goes off will leave the victim momentarily unable to function effectively. This fuuinjutsu is a trap-version of Konmei that does not require the user to be present to activated; however, the effect does wear off after a while due to the lack of sustained source of application. [B-Rank]

Shouhekifuu
AKA Kekkai Houjin ("Barrier Method Battle Array"), a ninjutsu technique incorporating the Bakuretsufuu (Exploding Seals). The ninja sets four or more exploding seals in a formation around a certain area so that if an enemy ninja enters the set proximity of these seals, all of them will be detonated at once, ensuring that the enemy cannot escape death. [B-Rank]

Napa-mu no In
("Napalm Seal") This seal explodes into a wave made of sticky, flaming semiliquid. This liquid can produce second-degree burns within forty-five seconds of coming into contact with skin. Water will cause this liquid to spread. Using earth or sand jutsus can smother the flames. [B-Rank]

Funsai Fuuin
("Demolition Seal") A slightly larger than the normal bomb tag, it explodes with much greater force. What is really important however, is that the force of explosion is focused on one side of the tag. So when it blows up, it will deliver a lot of destructive force to whatever it is stuck on, but very little to the surrounding area. This makes it ideal for blowing up obstacles such as doors, without endangering the user. The user can remotely detonate it with a half seal, as long as he is withing 50 metres. D-Rank

Kasumi Juusha no Jutsu
("Mist Servant Technique") A Genjutsu techinque that creates false attackers to delay and confuse the enemy. Though these servants are not real, the actual ninja is able to remain hidden and throw kunais and shurikens matching the movements of the servants. This makes it appear the false servants are capable of attacking. When the enemy attempts to attack the servant, they will merely disrupt the servant's illusion body but not destroy it. (Note: Genjutsu listed as strength) [D-Rank]

Konchuu Muri
("Insect Swarm") A genjutsu where the user must make eye contact with the target before activation. This technique causes the opponent to believe that a swarm of small insects flies around him/her. Often used as a distraction in order to set up for an attack or retreat. [D-Rank]

Magen Jigoku Kouka no Jutsu
("Demonic Illusion Descending Hell Technique") Jigoku Kouka no Jutsu is a Genjutsu technique that causes its target to see a vision of fire. After the user forms the needed handseals, a huge ball of fire will descend from the sky to envelope their target. (Note: Have genjutsu listed as strength. Have Narakumi no Jutsu) [D-Rank]

Magen Shinku Niwakaame
("Crimson Rain") A distraction genjutsu in which the sky seemed to become dark and cloudy before it begins to rain. But this is not an ordinary rain - it is a rain of blood as the drops strike the target in their mind. (Have genjutsu listed as strength. Have Narakumi no Jutsu) [D-Rank]

Magen Narakumi no Jutsu
("Demonic Illusion Hell Viewing Technique") Narakumi no Jutsu causes its target to see a horrifying vision. The ninja will use the serpent hand seal to cause a circle of leaves to spin and envelop the target and then fall away. Once cast the world will appear normal to the target until they see the illusion. [D-Rank]

Nakimane no Jutsu
("Animal Cry Imitation Technique") With this technique, the user is able to alter a target(s) auditory perception within a certain area. This causes a single uttered word from the user to be perceived by all within earshot to be heard as the call of an animal, as specified by the user. [D-Rank]

Okodasu no Jutsu
("Intimidation Technique") Using this technique, the user makes a single or group of specified targets to perceive the user as being much bigger and much more threatening than he/she actually is. [D-Rank]

Tenraiyuu no Jutsu
("Divine Courage") A basic genjutsu technique that is placed upon the user's brain and nervous system. This causes the user to not feel unplesant apprehension. The genjutsu however stops when you're hit. (Note: Must have genjutsu listed as a strength) [D-Rank]

Unknown Magen Environment Genjutsu
This genjutsu will make a person see an illusion of traveling through terrain repetitively, plus an illusion of the gen user from far away. Much like a mirage, the users image is stationary. Every time the target of the genjutsu blinks his/her eyes, the mirage appears farther and farther. [D-Rank]


C-Rank

Gentai Kusari
("Restriction Chains") This technique makes the target believe that "unbreakable" iron chains extend from the user's hands and into the ground before bursting out of the ground to bind them where they stand. This technique immobilizes both the user and the target. Should the user move, the technique is broken. [C-Rank]

Heki Bunshin no Jutsu
("False Clones") It makes a victim believe that he is fighting four bunshin clones; the jutsu user has actually disappeared from the illusionary field, replaced by one of the illusion clones. In other words, from a victims POV, the jutsu user doesnt disappear from his position but instead his figure is replaced by a heki bunshin. The jutsu user is unaffected by the genjutsu and can move in the real world; the bunshins can maneuver but not attack. This subtle technique can be dispelled by Kai (if noticed) or if the opponent rids of the four bunshins. [C-Rank]

Kokohi no Jutsu
("False Place Technique") Kokohi no Jutsu is a simple Genjutsu technique which changes the appearance of a nearby object. [C-Rank]

Kori Shinchuu no Jutsu
("Sly Mind Affect Technique") Kori Shinchuu no Jutsu is a Genjutsu technique which causes the target to travel around in circles. If the ninja is unable to detect the illusion very quickly, they can become exhausted mentally and physically when they are unable to reach their desired target by traveling along the same path over and over again. Meimeiito Kibou no Jutsu
("Invisible String Trick") A genjutsu technique that makes the victim believe that a ninja's strand of string or wire is invisible. This is useful and subtle, because the opponent will believe that the string tool that the ninja is actually holding is invisible. To the user's eyes it is not, and he can wield it efficiently without a problem. (Note: One target only) [C-Rank]

Magen Meionizoku no jutsu
("Demon Illusion Dark Ogre Race") A diversion genjutsu where the ninja creates tall shadow creatures in front of the targets. First the genjutsu forms clouds to block out the sun or moon, forming darkness. Then, the ogre or ogres appear. When the enemy attempts to attack the ogres, they will merely disrupt their illusion bodies but not destroy them. The ogre can chase, but not attack the targets. [C-Rank]

Magen Shourai Zetsumei no Jutsu
("Future Death Technique") When used on a target he sees the future deaths of his family, friends, and then finally his own. If he believes this is how things will happen, he may go insane -- if not, nothing happens. [C-Rank]

Nemuri
("Sleep") A Genjutsu technique where the ninja places his hand on his target's shoulder and forces them into a deep slumber. A useful technique when subterfuge is involved with a mission, but utterly useless in combat. [C-Rank]

Omoi Fugu no Jutsu
("Mind Fog") The opponent thinks that they are surrounded in a blanket of thick fog. [C-Rank]

Sakki
This genjutsu forges a direct connection between the user and victim. Its effects can be used at any distance at which the victim can see the user, but it is most cost-efficient and effective at close ranges, up to ten feet away from the victim. After a middle-length seal sequence, the target will see the users body blur, as if the user were vibrating very rapidly. This effect makes it no harder to locate the user, although it may make the victim want to have his eyes checked. When the user makes an aggressive motion- such as a feint with a sword or a throwing motion with a kunai or shuriken in hand- the victim will see it as a completed attack; he will believe the sword was swung through properly or the weapon was thrown. These illusory attacks are auditory and visual. They have no real effect; if a feinted attack hits the genjutsus victim, the false attack will fade out and the victim will feel no pain or impact. As a practical result, the user will appear to attack about twice as often as she should be able to. [C-Rank]

Sparkling Madness
A genjutsu that causes the chosen target(s) to see visions of blinding sparks. Much like fireworks they combust in the targets faces at point-blank, and also creates the similar explosive noise to the targets. This genjutsu is used to subdue the targets until dispelled. [C-Rank]

Yuumon
("Anguish") This genjutsu makes the target feel a amount of crippling pain, sometimes enough to make one pass out. It is often described as feeling as though you were on fire. Technique is very easy to recognize as jutsu unless used in conjunction with some other damaging jutsu. [C-Rank]

Magen Nenshouniku
("Combustion Flesh") A genjutsu where a target(s) sees their body slowly boil, then ignite on fire, consuming the target(s) Those affected by the genjutsu have their eyesight in the way of the fake fire. A vivid optical illusion that lasts for severalseconds but there is no heat or pain emitted. [C-Rank]

Magen Majindoki
("Devil Wrath") A genjutsu which makes someone see the place where they stand on explode in a bright fiery blade, including other people nearby for several seconds. Voices other than the one who created the genjutsu are muted form the victims' hearing. [C-Rank]

Taishou Henzou
("Target Alteration") A distractive genjutsu technique that makes the target(s) see another as a different person. It must be the genjutsu user himself or a person the user has seen before. For example, if the ninja is battling two guys and is hiding, he uses the genjutsu on one of them. That one target of the genjutsu will see the other person as either the gen user or another person of gen user’s choosing. The other person will not realize that its form was changed. [C-Rank]

Bara no Makai no Jutsu
("Thorns of Hell Technique") Thorns rise from the ground in the target's mind, and begins to wrap around his being. With each movement the thorns tighten around the target -- which is actually attacking the mind of the one entangled. Soon enough, if the prey of Bara no Makai cannot escape, he will be unable to move for weeks -- or even months. (Note: Jounin level or higher.) [B-Rank]

Jubaku Satsu
("Tree Binding Death") AKA Kishikiri no Jutsu. After forming the needed hand seals, the ninja will disappear and approach the target. Once near the target, a tree will grow at their feet and its branches will bind them so they can no longer move. Once the illusion makes them believe they are captured, the ninja will appear from the tree itself and stab the target with a kunai. [B-Rank]

Morishouheki no Jutsu
("Forest Barrier Technique") This strange genjutsu creates a very tall and wide barrier designed to stop ones opponent. No matter how unreal or ridiculous it may seem, to the user it is an authentic barrier made of tree for all intent and purposes. It has a scent, can be touched, and completely obscures what lies beyond the wall. Furthermore, the wall cannot be destroyed and a strange force prevents the affected target(s) from passing through or intentionally attacking a creature beyond the wall (though it might happen unintentionally, such as when a person is caught in the area of effect of a technique aimed to destroy the wall). Nemurihane
("Feather Sleep") AKA Nehan Shouja no Jutsu. A Genjutsu technique where the ninja targets a mass of people and puts them to sleep. Illusory feathers appear to rain upon them, and they will then fall into a deep slumber. More useful than the simple Nemuri Genjutsu, this technique is still useless in combat. [B-Rank]

Saimin no Jutsu
("Hypnotism Technique") By concentrating chakra into their eyes, the user is able to create the illusion that he/she is not directly a threat to the target. This technique employs the use of several illusions in order to give out a trustworthy illusion including: changing the user's appearance into something the target would find unthreatening, giving them a soothing or calm voice, etc. If the target has anything other than animal intelligence, this uneasy trust is easily broken and the target will soon come to their senses if the user obviously wrongs them in some way. Eye contact must be made for this technique to work. [B-Rank]

Saimin Jutsu Kage Kiai
("Hypnotism Technique- Otherworldly Scream") By using this technique and making the briefest eye contact with the target, the user is able to make the subject hear an extremely loud, high pitched, and unnerving scream that stuns the target, denying them of the ability to take any focused action (jutsu, running, talking, or attacking) for 10 seconds (a post). [B-Rank]

Saimin Jutsu Musou no Jutsu
("Hypnotism Technique Mind Blank Technique") This genjutsu ensnares the targets mind by making brief eye contact, and makes them completely oblivious to the users presence. The user cannot be seen, heard, or smelled for as long as they do not attack. [B-Rank]

Saimin Jutsu Yoken no Jutsu
("Hypnotism Technique Foresight Technique") By using this technique and making eye contact with a single target, the user is able to force the targets train of though into a very distinct pattern that is easy to recognize for the user. For as long as the user looks into the targets eyes and fights defensively, the user finds it much easier and sometimes simple to avoid a targets attacks. However, should the user get hit by the target, willingly break eye contact, or attack the target in any way, the genjutsu will be broken. [B-Rank]

Sutoringusu Karikomu
("Cutting the Strings") This genjutsu technique requires the user to have both hands free. For this reason, it is usually employed as a distraction to facilitate escape, or in team tactics. To use the jutsu a ninja makes the needed handseals. Then, he makes a slashing motion with his hand, making sure that the intended victim can see it. The target will then experience a brief but powerful illusion that “his stings have been cut”. He will fall to the ground, completely limp and may suffer some damage as the result. The technique only works about two seconds so if the target should fall from more that three metres, he will regain control before hitting the ground and can try to reduce the damage. [B-Rank]

Ultimate Fatigue
This technique is utilized by just pointing at the victim. When the victim is affected by the jutsu it makes him/her believe that his/her strength his draining. Because of that belief of not having enough strength, chakra molding may be difficult. [B-Rank]

Genjutsu Interrogation Technique
This technique is currently unnamed, and was used by a stone jounin during the Third Secret War. The soften up jutsu assaults the senses and attempts to break the will of an abducted person. The technique was used to cruelly extract and obtain information. (Note: Must be Jounin) [A-Rank]

Akumu Nemuri
("Nightmare Sleep") A weaponized version of Nemuri that, unlike the weaker form, is capable of forcing a resisting enemy to sleep. The user may then control the target's dreams as long as he remains in physical contact. These dreams may be very vivid, but do not have the mind-destroying impact of other genjutsu. [A-Rank]

Kage Haishin
("Shadow Betrayal") This technique forces the target to believe that his own shadow has become solid and is trying to strangle him. While not really able to do damage, the illusion can restrain the target by “struggling” with him and can serve as a fatal distraction. Of course, if the user can really manipulate shadows, the illussion will be all the more convincing. [A-Rank]

Kakezan no Jutsu
("Multiplication Technique") After a weapon or projectile is lunched toward an enemy, the user performs this genjutsu and the weapon/s seems to multiply just like those in Shuriken Kage Bunshin no Jutsu would. Can be used with kunai/shuriken/needles or even with chain weapons. [A-Rank]

Kokuangyou no Jutsu
("Bringer of Darkness") Creates an illusion of complete darkness over the battlefield. It traps the opponent into absolute darkness, where they can see nothing but their own body. The person/people trapped inside the genjutsu cannot see the user if the user decides to attack, therefore defending one's self is extremely hard. [A-Rank]

Ningyoutatsujin
("Master of Puppets") This technique can be used by a ninja against a single target as long as both his hands are free For the jutsu to be effective, the target must be able to see the caster’s hands. The user makes moves with his hands as if controlling a puppet. It causes the target to experience a bizarre vision: he is the puppet that is being controlled and it has been that way all along. The victim can clearly see the strings stretching from his limbs and puppet joints on his body. The technique quickly erodes the target’s will, convincing him that he really has no mind of his own and so there is no point in struggling. Soon, the target comes under the caster’s direct control. The controlled target moves awkwardly, like a zombie and will not be of much use in combat. However, he can be used to do things that the puppet master couldn’t or prefers not to do himself. The biggest drawback of the technique is the required focus.

The caster is practically an immobile target until he gains full control and while he is controlling the victim, he cannot use other techniques. The victim can be forced to hurt himself but the pain will free him after the first injury and his stiff movements make it hard to cause a fatal wound with a single blow. The technique is mostly useful for team strategies or things like hostage situations. [A-Rank]

Prophecy of death
("Yogen No Oujou") For this technique to take effect, a ninja must be audible to his intended target. He forms the correct handseals, then informs the target that he is going to die. The technique has no apparent effect at first and the target may remain unaware that he has been affected. However, the technique slowly affects his subconscious, creating a growing feeling of impending doom. The technique takes full effect next time the victim is targeted by an attack that has a good chance of killing him. The technique causes a very realistic vision of the attack being successful, causing the target to freeze in terror for a second, creating an opening, which can indeed result in death. [A-Rank]

Saimin Jutsu Kage Gugen no Jutsu
(Hypnotism Technique Shadow Incarnation Technique) With this powerful kinjutsu, the user is able to create a residual image of himself constantly appearing to the right of the subject, no matter where he looks, making it appear as though the user is using a strong teleportation technique or extremely fast movements. The users actual image is erased from the subjects mind, which grants the user total concealment. The subject will be unable to see or hear the user. This technique is incredibly hard to recognize as a genjutsu since it is much easier believed as a ninjutsu of fast movements. This technique CAN be Kaied, but the technique has never been kaied before. The technique is dispelled should the user be injured while using this technique. [A-Rank]

Tajuu Fujimi
(Multiple Immortality) Makes the victim believe that the user is using tajuu kage bunshin no jutsu. Within the genjutsu, the kage bunshins can be attacked, but are perceived as "immortal". Attacks from the clones mentally exhaust the victim, but that can be defeated. Very dangerous, and it's difficult to tell if it's a genjutsu. (Note:Requires lots of chakra)[A-Rank]

Kage Bunshin no Jutsu
(Shadow Replication Technique) Unlike the normal Replication Technique, this jutsu creates not merely an illusion but multiple real bodies of yourself. The strength of the clones is evenly distibuted among the user and every clone, making it impossible to decipher which is the original. Since these are real clones, unlike regular Bunshin no Jutsu, they can cause damage to a target; however, they will disappear if hit.

Chakra Yori no Jutsu
("Chakra Spike Technique") Through the use of this technique, the user is able to channel chakra into their any part of their body, focus it, and then release it in any or even multiple directions, causing "spears" of silver chakra to come out of their body and at their target. The amount of chakra used depends on how many spears are created, and how long they are. [B-Rank]

Kuchiyose no Jutsu
("Summoning Technique") The Users signs a blood contract with the animal summoning, then with the correct seals they can summon the animal. There are many different types of creatures that can be summoned: snakes, toads, slugs, monkeys, dogs, turtles, spiders, etc.

Bakuretsu Kawarimi no Jutsu
("Explosive Body Substitute Technique") Similar to the standard version of quickly replacing one's self with an object, the ninja often replaces herself with an object with an explosive or some form of bomb instead.

Shoushitsu Shuriken no Jutsu
("Invisible Shuriken technique") A technique which renders shuriken invisible. Up to five shuriken can be made invisible at one time.

Bunshin Daibakuha
(Clone Great Explosion) This jutsu works in combination with the kage bushin jutsu to create a shadow clone that will explode on command. The blast created is considerable, and could potentially kill an attacker engaged in hand-to-hand combat.

Bunshin no Jutsu
("Clone Skill") A basic ninja jutsu required to graduate into a Genin. Clones of the caster are created in their perfect likeness. They are false images, somewhere near the realm of illusions, but physically present. They can not cast jutsus or throw weapons, as they possess no material form. "Bunshins" will automatically disappear when hit. [E-Rank]

Henge no Jutsu
("Transformation Skill") A basic ninja jutsu required to graduate into a Genin. The user is transformed into a different appearance. They can change into anything from another person to a shuriken, as long as it is not a gas or liquid. In transformation, the user retains the same strength, weight, and density; one can not fly away as a bird or evade an attack as smoke. [E-Rank]

Kawarimi no Jutsu
("Body Substitute Skill") A basic ninja jutsu required to graduate into a Genin. The user switches his or her body with another object in an instant. It can be a plant, object, or animal, but not a person, something gaseous, or a liquid not in a container. Traditionally, the ninja inexplicably switches with a log. It is a useful jutsu for escape or evasion, but must be prepared one post prior to use by concentrating on the object in question and forming the hand seal. [E-Rank]
