PostSubject: Rule's   Wed Aug 04, 2010 7:35 pm

Here's how it goes for the posting rules kiddies. You may only be in one IC topic at a time. The only way that you are able to be in two different topics is if it is with a clone and even then both you and your clone must be in the same village. Other than that one exception to the rules, you can't be in more than one IC topic period. When it comes to the Other RPing Zone you may be in more than one topic there and one IC topic.

Here's something else you may not have known...

POSTING ORDER!!!!!!! DX

Here's how it will go... let's say it's you and your friend posting. Let's say that your friend made the topic that means he gets to go first...

1st post: Jimmy
2nd post: You

Now if someone was to join in on your post with your friend it would go like this....

1st post: Jimmy
2nd post: You
3rd post: Tommy

So on and so forth... if more than this post then they will just add onto the end....
Also let's try not to have more than six people in one topic. Then we'll have to wait... and wait... and WAIT!!!! D8

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Exit Rules:

Now when you want to exit a topic you must clearly exit the topic...
Here's a shitty example of such:

Jimmy runs away.

If you do this, then someone can post off of it and stop you like so:

As Jimmy ran away, Tommy saw him run into a brick wall. What Tommy didn't know was that Jimmy had a boner and when he ran into the wall he broke his nose first. Tommy then watched Jimmy fall to the ground and land on his spine wrong, thus putting him in a wheelchair for the rest of his life.

Or something like that....

.....>.> Unless you want that happening you need to post more specific. Here's a better example:

Jimmy, after avoiding the spiked floor and the giant rock that was in his way by jumping over it without hitting the cealing or anything else that might get in the way, ran out the door by swinging the door wide open without hitting himself or anything else. Before he left and when he got out of the door nothing was able to stop him from making it home safely.

This is a somewhat ok exit. It would be exceptable unless an admin says otherwise...
Also when you post to exit make sure that you signify your exit by putting this...

[Exit]

...at the bottom

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Time Rules:

This stands as it is. You have two days to post something. So if you're posting with someone else and they post on the 18th you have until the 20th to post. If you do not post by then, then whatever they did is an auto-hit, or happens.

Fighting Rules:

1. To be able to kill another character you need a valid rp reason to do so. This avoids random killings to people not related to your characters development.
2. There are no battles without the injuries - you cannot dodge attacks forever
3. You CANNOT describe the reaction or emotions of another character.
4. Auto-hitting is absolutely not allowed at all, this is another form of godmodding which nobody appreciates. (I slash at you drawing blood <-----this is autohitting or I shoot fireball jutsu at you and you get burned all over your body <--------also autohitting.) If attacks are explicity ignored though they will make contact automatically meaning you must literally post that you dodge and how
5. During the battle there is a strict order of moves. For example your post must be always followed by enemy move, like that: You, Enemy, You, Enemy, You, Enemy. Or if this is a group battle it will be like You, Enemy1, Enemy 2, You, Enemy1, Enemy2 etc.
6. Please READ you opponent's post fully and make sure that if you have a doubt about it ask them before posting to avoid arguments.

There are five basic types into which the nature of chakra can be transformed, called the Five Elements Nature Transformations (五大性質変化, Godai Seishitsu Henka). These five types are also called elements and are not only the origin of the names of the Five Great Shinobi Countries, but also the foundation of all elemental ninjutsu.[3] The five basic natures are all connected to each other in a circle, each being weaker than one and stronger than another.

These elements allow for elemental ninjutsu to be performed:

• Fire (火, Ho) natured chakra allows for Fire Release (火遁, Katon), which is strong against Wind but weak against Water.
• Wind (風, Kaze) natured chakra allows for Wind Release (風遁, Fūton), which is strong against Lightning but weak against Fire.
• Lightning (雷, Kaminari) natured chakra allows for Lightning Release (雷遁, Raiton), which is strong against Earth but weak against Wind.
• Earth (土, Tsuchi) natured chakra allows for Earth Release (土遁, Doton), which is strong against Water but weak against Lightning.
• Water (水, Mizu) natured chakra allows for Water Release (水遁, Suiton), which is strong against Fire but weak against Earth.

Basically, this means that if an elemental jutsu is put against an elemental jutsu of the same level, but of a stronger nature, then the jutsu with the superior nature will prevail. However, a jutsu with a weaker nature can overpower a jutsu with a stronger nature if the former is of a higher level.

Affinity

In general, every person has chakra that has an affinity towards one of these types, a characteristic that seems to be genetic, since whole clans sometimes share the same affinity. Most members of the Uchiha clan, for example, had an affinity towards the Fire nature.[3]

To find out what affinity someone has, pieces of paper made from a special type of tree (that are grown and fed with chakra) are used that react to even the slightest hint of chakra in any of a number of ways, depending on the nature latent in the chakra.[4]

The Chakra Paper reactions are as follows:

* Fire: the Paper will ignite and turn to ash.
* Wind: the Paper will split in two.
* Lightning: the Paper will crumple up.
* Earth: the Paper will turn to dirt.
* Water: the Paper will become damp.

This affinity makes it easier to learn how to create and control the nature in question, although even with an affinity this process will usually take any number of years. Shinobi are not limited to the nature they have an affinity to, though. By the time they reach the rank of Jonin, most shinobi have mastered two natures. However, because of the difficulty of mastering a nature and the time required to learn it, it is almost impossible to master all five natures in normal way. However, people who are born with the Rinnegan possess all the elements, while Kakuzu got them stealing the hearts, and chakra, of others.

Elements
Katon - Fire Release
- Katon, or Fire Element, takes the form of fire and flame attacks. These can be fire balls or extended flame throwing. Fire is typically a specialised offensive element.
Doton - Earth Release
- Doton, or Earth Element, takes the form of earth and mud based attacks. These can be walls made from mud or the ninja maneuvering himself below ground to attack his opponent from below. Earth can change the hardness composition of objects, making something hard as steel or soft as clay.
Fuuton - Wind Release
- Fuuton, or Wind Element, takes the form of wind based attacks. These can be huge gusts or sustained wind storms. Wind is typically a specialised offensive element, good for close to mid-range attacks.
Suiton - Water Release
- Suiton, or Water Element, takes the form of water based attacks. These can be walls of water used as shields or water formed into large striking jets. In this regard, Water is very diverse when it comes to shape modification.
Raiton - Lightning Release
- Raiton, or Lightning Element takes the form of electrical and lightning based attacks. When used in conjunction with metal based weapons, the power becomes amplified. Lightning is good for middle to long-range attacks
