| The sennin stepped into the arena with a roar of applause from the crowd. His opponent, a Kumogakure nin, who too, got a rather gracious uproar, members of Kumogakure having come all the way to Konoha to watch. The judge stood from his seat, high above the wall, announcing the match would shortly begin. Though they may have been in the same arena the Chuunin Exams were, these were no Chuunin Exams, the judges would not be setting foot in the arena, simply for their own safety.
Walking slowly towards the center to meet his opponent, Masahiro's staff swung slowly down off his shoulders, then back up and around to rest in a different position. Stopping just shy of center he waited for the other nin to meet him. As the, interesting, Kumo Jounin stepped towards him Masahiro began to dwarf the smaller nin slightly. Smiling, Masahiro reached out an arm for a simple handshake.

| Naethyn wasn't one for battles, atleast, arena battles, he was paid to do this battle. It took place in Konohagakure and he hated that village, he rather fight a academy student then the Sennin from Konoha. Sannin's are just pathetic excuses for nins that have nothing to there name. Naethyn before entering the arena, summoned a clone and sent the clone out to shake the mans hand, while Naethyn used the Light Refracting Jutsu to conceal himself as he entered the arena. The clone walked up to the man to shake his hand, smiling and chuckling. "Let's give em a good show." the man said as Naethyn's clone was just about to grab his hand, when suddenly he hand went through the opponent's hand. Naethyn's clone exclaimed: "what happened?" The clone was providing the perfect angle of defense because the real Naethyn quickly prepared a jutsu and shot out a jet stream of water, straight through the clone, revealing his position as well as releasing the Light Refraction Technique and the Jet Stream was heading towards the Sennin. His clone was uneffected by this jutsu because of his hollow and unreal body. JUTSU USED - Spoiler:

This technique creates a Light Release Clone which will reflect the light that is bouncing on that particular object or person at the moment to create an indentical clone. The clone is made of physical properties, ie light. However because Light isn't tangible like Water or Fire would be this clone can cast a jutsu without being interupted, however the downside to this technique is that the clone is only good for one ability, whether it be Genjutsu, Ninjutsu, Fuuinjutsu, etc. The clone dissipates and leaves a small white trail of light.

This technique bends the light waves and makes an object or place or something appear as though it isn't there. By doing this the lightwaves bend through the object instead of around it making it appear transparent.

| Masahiro took immediate notice of the clone and deicded to over look it immediately. Being roughly three or four inches taller then the clone, the water jet could be seen just over the tip of his head. Masahiro smirked, That would've worked had he not been such a smart ass. Leaning to the right sharply, the water jet narrowly missed Masahiro, leaving a nasty cut on his left arm. Dispersing the water clone, Masahiro decided it was time to show him what a mastery of water really was. Shoving his staff into the earth, Masahiro began to form hand seals, pausing sporadically, always keeping his eyes on his target. Stopping Masahiro stood straight again, grabbing his staff from the ground. Looking in Naethyn's direction, he winked. It was then that water exploded from around Masahiro. It came from every where, the air, the ground. Quickly obscuring Masahiro from site, the water rushed towards Naethyn with the power of a river behind it. As the water crashed into the walls it began to fill the small arena, Masahiro still somewhere beneath it's surface. - Spoiler:

| Naethyn saw that the man has just barely dodge the attack, he was furious, hoping he could end it quickly. He noticed that his clone was still intact and that he could perform a nice technique he decided to have his clone perform Water Manipulation and stop the water dead in its trackes and throw it in the air seperating it from the Arena. Naethyn during the manipulation summoned his two staffs and quickly began running using his Charka Art: Chakra Release Techique to get about 5 feet away from Masahiro and then threw the staffs as him. Quickly jumping back using the Light Refraction jutsu to conceal himself, he ladning just due east of where his jump shouldv'e put him. However he summoned a clone that appeared behind Masahiro. He was waiting for a moment to strike, a moment of defnese. He told the clone to run up to masahiro and use the complete darkness technique. The light began to fade from the scene, horrible for those who can't see in the dark, let alone sense chakra. Naethyn was now able to draw the water with Water Manipulation that was once thrown out of the arena and he quickly performed the Destructive Current Technique. Without being able to see, Masahiro would be done for. - Spoiler:

Description: This technique is another jutsu that requires the knowledge and knowing of the parent jutsus: Light Release: Light Manipulation. By using the parent jutsu the shinobi casting this technique can draw out all the energy in one section. By drawing the light energy out of a section, you create a single area that appears to be darkness; because the parent jutsu focuses on manipulation, this technique makes people outside of the area see that there is nothing going on. This technique lasts for two posts at C Rank, three posts when used at B Rank, and four posts when used at A Rank. At C and B Rank this jutsu can draw out the light from a small battlefield about thirteen meters tall and ten meters radius. This jutsu at A rank doubles in size as well as chakra usage. Because the human body gives off heat as well as light the Hiton Release can sense the light like chakra.

| Watching his created water be pulled away from his, Masahiro frowned, forming a one handed seal it started to rain back down to earth. This was no ordinary rain however, not only was his technique allowing his water to return to the field, but it was detecting the presence of everything in the rain for him. Masahiro smiled as even the crowd began to have it's presence felt. However, this match was far from over, though he had been looking up, his rain now told him he had an attacker. Snapping back to attention he saw two staves flying towards him. Spinning his staff through his hands he blocked the two expertly, knocking them away to the side. Invisible or not now, Masahiro's rain traced his opponent, and while it even passed through the light clone, it could still sense it's presence too. Masahiro spun to face the clone, using the enlightenment palm to attempt to break it apart. While he succeeded, it was too late, his world went dark. This mattered little however, unless Naethyn found a way to stop the rain. Turning to face his opponent once more, Masahiro planted his staff, the chakra sensing rain telling him Naethyn was prepping a technique. There was only one way to stop this one. Make a quick judgement to determine how far the walls of the arena were, Masahiro formed three quick hand seals, the water feet away from crushing him. "Cold Snap!" The river froze, as it did the rain, literally. From Masahiro radiated a cold like no other, and it was making it's way across the arena. If it came into contact with his opponent, the match would be set. And as it spread quickly and filled the arena, it would not be easy to escape. - Spoiler:

Description: This Ninjutsu technique allows the user to blanket a wide area with a downpour of rain. They can maintain a connection to the rain and tell when someone is obstructing it, making it an excellent location technique. The user can even detect the individual’s chakra level and skill.

Type: Offensive, Defensive.
Description: The staff is spun through either one or both hands continuously. This can be done in front of the user, either side, behind the back, or overhead. By spinning the staff fast enough, it's possibly to deflect barrages of weaponry or even low level elemental techniques. It can also be used offensively, by battering a target with the tips of the staff as it spins, dealing out a high number of blows in a short amount of time.
Enlightenment Palm
Art: Taijutsu
Type: Offensive, Defensive
Description: The enlightenment palm is a style of taijutsu developed by northern temple monks. Masahiro's adaptation of this style works extremely well alongside his Bo-jutsu techniques. The entire basis to the enlightenment palm is based on core strength, precision and momentum. As Masahiro will generally build quite a bit of momentum during his different staff forms, it makes performing the Enlightenment Palm that much easier. By drawing momentum from the core, then strike quickly and precisely with the flat of the palm, the user's physical energy will transfer past the palm itself, creating a weakened burst of air or so. By all means this is no Fuuton jutsu, but it is easily capable of snuffing candles up to ten feet away, or weak fire based techniques. At closer ranges, it's been known to knock back relatively heavy weights, an attack easily capable of throwing an opponent off their feet even if they are out of physical contact range.
Aisu Sunappu - Cold Snap

Description: Hyouton - Aisu Sunappu is a ninjutsu technique requiring the mastery of the ice element. The ninja will form hand seals and release an amazing amount of ice chakra. This chakra then bursts from the user covering a wide area in seconds. As it spreads, the chakra decreases the ambient temperature to -300 degrees celsius (-508 Fahrenheit, -27,000 Kelvin). This burst of cold will then freeze anything on contact, not only creating a winter wonder land for the Hyouton user to now use but stopping all nearby enemies in their tracks.
Note: This technique does not kill. As the temperature drops so quickly and so fast, it will flash freeze and place any living objects into suspended animation. The temperature only lasts while chakra is left on the field, as soon as it dissipates, standard climate returns.
Limit: Hyouton Element.

| Naethyn had been using a lot of chakra, his body wasn't used to this close combat and quick and sharp moves, you had to be fast, a little too fast. The Sage in front of him was making a move and Naethyn could see that that heat he was sensing was slowly going away and building up. He noticed the complete darkness beginning to fade away as he jumped in the air using aboiut 10% of his chakra with in the Chakra. He shot up into the air at a lightning fast right hitting almost 10,000 feet above the battlefield. He used his water manipulation to create a water sphere that allowed him to float down at a slow rate, however reversing his Hydrogen to Oxygen technique to allow himself to breath every now and then. He waited for the jutsu to die out. - Spoiler:

Description: This technique requires the knowledge and knowing of the parent jutsu known as Light Release: Light Manipulation. This technique allows the user to sense light from a distance of about twenty five meters away. However at B Rank, this technique is near mastered and can sense light from about fifty meters away. The Light Sensing works in a similar way as Chakra Sensing however not to the extent of a Doujutsu. The Light Sensing can sense the light given off the human body that the naked eye can't see, the light is given off with the heat which creates a way to get around smokescreens or mist jutsus. This also allows the caster to fight in blinding scenes after using other defensive/offensive jutsu.

| Masahiro groaned as his cold chakra filled the arena. This was possibly one of the most aggravating battles he had ever had, never the less Naethyn just provd himself as one of two people to avoid the technique. That was alright in Masahiro's mind though. Just more of a challenge, and he was quite spent yet. The ice field would last until the natural environment around it heated it back up, with the amount of ice, that was atleast a day before the temperature even came out of the -100 C range. While he had less then half of his chakra, he still had quite a few long range techniques that didn't require a lot, and an idea on how to use them effectively. Dropping his staff and standing on top of it, Masahiro formed more hand seals, using his snow cold environment to produce large swallows made of ice. These swallows then caught hold of the edges of the staff, and, as a balancing act, began to lift Masahiro into the air. Arms crossed, the sennin slowly rose, clearly taking his time to rise to ten thousand feet. On his way up, he touched the seal, that had previously sat unused on his forehead. As he did so, energy seemed to flow back into his body. Instead of using the chakra stored in the seal to heal his wounds, he simply used it to restore his stock, easily returning him to a good eighty-five percent. Half an hour later, Masahiro arrived to the same level Naethyn was, floating lesireuly beside the sphere. Waving politely, Masahiro smiled and formed a single hand seal, before placing his hand on the surface of the water orb. Looking inside to Naethyn, he mouthed slowly so that his opponent would understand. "Water Prison."Now that the sphere was under his control, Masahiro signaled the birds with his free hand, andthey began to descend. Soon, they would be back in range of the cold snap, and the water orb would freeze. - Spoiler:
Tsubame Fubuki - Snow Storm Swallows

Souzou Saisei - Creation Rebirth
Art: Ninjutsu

Description: It is said this technique will prevent any particularly powerful medical ninja from falling in battle. Over time the shinobi will concentrate chakra to a spot on their forehead that takes the form of a diamond or other chosen shape. When they release the seal on the jutsu, the chakra disperses and stimulates the proteins of their body to increase the speed of cell division and reconstruction of cells. This allows them to recreate all organs and tissues. The technique itself does not regenerate the old cells; rather it hastens the creation of new ones through division. Unfortunately, a body’s cells can only split a certain number of times in a lifetime. By speeding up this process the ninja is shortening their overall lifespan. They may not die in battle, but they can die by speeding up their natural lifespan.
Limit: Medical Ninja.
Suirou no Jutsu - Water Prison Technique

Description: Suirou no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique that utilizes water to imprison an opponent. The ninja forms the necessary hand seals, which causes the water to form around the target into a spherical prison that only allows for limited movement. The ninja must keep their body touching the water prison to maintain its existence. If the contact is broken, the water falls away and their target is released. When combined with a Bunshin technique, the ninja can imprison their target with the use of the clone so long as it can use such jutsu.
Limit: Suiton Element.

| Naethyn suddenly trapped in the Water Prison he decided that rather then destroy himself, he decided a homicide suicide would be the best. Naethyn reversed his Water From Hydrogen technique making a sphere of pure oxygen in a fraction of a second and quickly did a fireball technique and before Masahiro could blink, there was a large explosion of fire.

| (Well, considering you need at least time to gather the fire in your mouth, I do still get a reaction time. Aheh) Masahiro felt his hand find free air and a look of shock hit his face, looking his opponent in the face he saw the inhale happen and quickly kicked the staff and swallows away from him, forming a hand seal. As the oxygen caught flame, Masahiro too exploded into a spray of water, all of which quickly evaporated due to the heat. Further away, the same splash of water happened again, and Masahiro stood atop his staff again, watching the fireball for signs of life. - Spoiler:

Description: After forming a simple hand seal the genjutsu is active. At this point all the opponent has had to do is merely look at Masahiro in any way shape or form. Now, Masahiro may burst his body apart into a spray of liquid in order to cover his tracks as he moves to a different area. Considering he has technically left the spot at the activation of the genjutsu, this technique can allow him to escape from danger if he has performed the hand seal prior to capture.
