| Basic Info Name: Uchiha, Hikaru • Nickname/Alias: n/a Age: 14 Gender: Male Important Family Members: Parents – deceased Brothers: Shizuke| half brother. Kenjiro Personality: Normally Hikaru is a really easy going guy. When he isn’t in a serious situation he’ll engage in small talk occasionally and even joke around with any friends he’s made. Sometimes he can be found with a book in his hands, studying up on ninjutsu or just reading to pass the time. If he doesn’t have a book and there’s no one around for a conversation he’ll either spend his free time at the training grounds our just go on a leisurely walk. If he doesn’t have to stay in one place he usually won’t. In situations that demand his attention he’ll give it 100%. In battle he’ll usually be the one to attack first, preferring to end a fight quickly instead of dragging it out. He is a very hands on type of ninja and quickly learns from his mistakes. If rushing head first doesn’t work he’ll change tactic and be the observer, waiting if he must for his opponent to make a mistake and give him an opening for a counter attack. If his opponent is stronger than he is then he’ll quickly call for aid and hold off as long as he can, if he is able to escape a battle to preserve his life then he will do so. The only situation in which Hikaru would fight to the death would be to protect his teammates or his village. General Appearance Basic looks- Spoiler:
Hikaru is built like most Uchiha. His hair is a raven black just like his eyes and reaches down to about shoulder height. He has an almost emotionless look like some of the battle tested Uchiha and tries to not appear unapproachable. To counteract the serious nature he often tries to smile whenever something seems funny. He has a tone form and likes to train often and build up his strength for oncoming challenges in the future. He is of an average height and can easily take a few punches and dish out some of his own. • Height: 5,2 • Weight: 130lbs preferred wardrobe: Short sleeved white shirt and a pair of black training pants. Around the waist of his pants are small pouches that contain kunai, shuriken or other ninja tools he might need. Extra Features:None so far. Bloodline Information Kekkei Genkai: Sharingan [Copying Wheel Eye] • Description: Sharingan is the blood inheritance limit of the Uchiha Clan. The Uchiha are said to be descendants of the Hyuuga, with the Byakugan changing into the Sharingan over time. This doujutsu (eye skill) gives one the ability to read Genjutsu, Taijutsu and Ninjutsu and then defeat it. As such, the clan member can view a technique being performed and almost instantly memorize the movements required to be able to complete it, including the needed chakra moldings and seals used. However the clan member cannot copy techniques that are unique to another bloodline and the clan member must have a body capable of meeting the chakra and physical requirements to do the jutsu. This rarely stops the clan member though, as such stressful situations often push their limits farther and allow them to harness their full potential. The Sharingan itself contains three tomoe (comma). A higher mastery of the Sharingan can be seen in the creation of a new tomoe in the eye, with three tomoe being the typical highest form of the eye. The rare Mangekyou form is a unique evolution of the Sharingan beyond the three tomoe form, please see its entry for more information. An eye containing three tomoe will allow the ninja to see the image of an attacker’s next move from the slightest muscle tension in their body. This prevents wasteful movement and allows the Uchiha clan member to conserve much needed chakra in battle. It allows them to synchronize their movement to strike at an area moments before their opponent is even in that spot, essentially allowing them to strike out and hit their opponent before they're even there. Three tomoe also grants the Uchiha the ability to do Genjutsu and hypnosis after locking eyes with an enemy. This can be used to cause their opponent to do an attack of the Uchiha's choosing. Using the developed vision of the Sharingan eye, the clan member hurls three Windmill Shuriken which have wire attached. While in the air the clan member can manipulate wire to make the blades circle the target, which results in the attached wire binding them.

• Description: Katon • Goukakyuu no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique utilzing the Fire Element. The ninja does the necessary hand seals, draws chakra from their mouth into their chest and them immediately exhales it. They then blow a stream of fire which erupts into a large sphere of flames. To better manage the flames the ninja will bring their hand to their mouth to control it.
Katon jutsu such as this are seen as a rite of passage into adulthood for Uchiha clan members. Once the member can manipulate fire, they are finally recognized as no longer being a child.

• Description: Katon • Housenka no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique utilizing the Fire Element. The ninja does the necessary hand seals and then emits a series of small fire balls. The ninja can also hurl a projectile which is covered in these same flames. To the opponent the attack appears to be only the balls of flame, they do not see the hidden threat within the flames. Meaning that even if the flames are put out, the projectiles still converge on the target. The flames can be used to cover different projectiles like shuriken or kunai.

• Description: This jutsu lets the user quickly switch places with another nearby object, such as a plant (normally a section of a log), an animal, or even another person within reach, leaving the opponent open to a counter-attack. • Description: This jutsu allows the user to assume the appearance of another person, animal, or object. This is one of the basic jutsu taught at the Konoha Ninja Academy. Fundamentally, all ninja know this jutsu. The transformation jutsu is considered to be among the more difficult E-ranked techniques, since it requires constant emission of chakra while mentally maintaining the form. On top of that, the user would be, most likely, interacting with the environment. This puts much mental strain on the inexperienced ninja.

• Description: This technique creates intangible copies of the user. The clones are simply illusions and will dissipate when they come into contact with something. The illusions can be seen through by the Byakugan and the Sharingan. A person with normal eyes can also distinguish the clones from the original, since the clones will not disrupt the area around themselves with their movement (won't kick up dust, crush grass, etc.).

• Description: This jutsu is a high-speed movement technique, allowing a ninja to move short to long distances at an almost untraceable speed. To an observer, it appears as if the user has teleported. A puff of smoke is occasionally used to disguise the user's movements. It is accomplished by using chakra to temporarily boost the user's reflexes. The amount of chakra required depends on the overall distance between the user and their intended destination.

• Description: Kinobori no Waza, the art of tree climbing serves a dual purpose. Taking part in Kinobori Shugyou (Tree Climbing Training) helps a ninja learn how to focus their chakra. It also teaches the ninja how to run up trees and walk on vertical walls. The training helps the ninja learn how to focus just the right amount of chakra to a particular part of their body. The amount needed to climb is small but it must be precise. The feet are regarded as the hardest location to master chakra focusing. So by gaining the art of this skill, the ninja will have any jutsu available (theoretically) because they will be able to focus their chakra as needed.

• Description: A variation on the Kinobori no Waza (Act of Tree Climbing), the art of water surface walking allows a ninja to walk on water as if it was a solid surface. Focusing an even amount of chakra out of the soles of their feet, they can balance themselves on the very surface of the water.

• Description: Kai is a Ninjutsu technique which allows the ninja to avoid the effects of a Genjutsu illusion. After forming the needed handseals, the Genjutsu technique will not affect the ninja. The ninja can also use the technique on another individual who was unable to avoid the attack. After forming the needed hand seals, the ninja touches the one affected to end the affect of the spell.

Long before Hikaru was born, his mother Yoshitomi Uchiha was teamed up with an old friend named Busho. Having grown up together and worked together from the day they where still a genin team with their sensei, Maresuke Senju. They learned alot from their sensei, and with their fellow genin Shougi Akimichi, they went on many missions. They where called team 3, and they where most likely the most potent and interesting team in the Leaf village. Being sent on many high ranked missions, they always fullfilled their tasks under the leadership of Maresuke.
Having seen him deal with many powerfull warriors together with his powerfull summon called Obutsu the salamander boss, they where one of the leaf's most well respected ninja. Obutsu was once a great, well known companion of Maresuke senju, a very powerfull Konoha ninja, said to have rivaled the strength of the kage of that time. Having trained together alot and having gotten used to eachother, the two where very attached to eachother. After a few years Maresuke started training a group of genin, among these was Shizuka's Father Busho Uchiha. Though the two didnt like eachother at first, the two soon got along much better.
When the eventual showdown with the unknown akatsuki member came, Maresuke sacrificed himself while grappeling his enemy and using the "Birth of dense woodlands" technique to seal himself and his opponent within a thick wooden prison, eventually crushing their bodies. Though not many people know of this place, to some senju clan members and the disbanded team 3, it was a memorial to his greatness.
Birth Arc: Four years after the incident Yoshitomi had given birth to two children and was now giving birth to a third. All of them had Uchiha blood running through their veins. The first born was Shizuka, his father having died some time ago. Her second born was named Kenjiro and her last born was named Hikaru. Kenjiro and Hikaru were full blood brothers with Shizuka being their half-brother. Hikaru was a quiet child, his mother having had to check on him constantly since he wouldn’t make a noise if he was in any discomfort. He and his brothers usually didn’t give their mother a hard time and soon they started to leave the house to become ninja themselves.
Academy Arc: At the age of ten Hikaru was enrolled in the ninja academy. Life seemed to be going in the right direction for the male. Classes were fun sometimes and when he had to work hard, he did so without complaint. He studied all types of Jutsus, often being found around campus with his nose in a book. This…like many other times…made him the butt of a few jokes. But this time he really didn’t care, he was learning all he could while he could. When he turned 14, his sensei tested him along with a handful of other students to try and achieve their genin rank. The test would be a big turning point for the young ninja.
The test in itself was rather simple. Preform the techniques you had learned in front of a higher ranked ninja and they would evaluate you to see if you had passed to become a genin or not. Hikaru was actually drawn out to be spoken to privately. His test would be done in a separate place from all the other Genin. Some of the instructors had seen a bit of latent potential in the male and wanted to bring it out very quickly. Instead of taking the test in a class room like all the other Genin, Hikaru was escorted to one of the training grounds located in the woods away from the leaf village and told to wait for his instructor once he was at the grounds.
Hikaru didn’t really mind this different way of testing and patiently waited for his instructor, seating himself on a rock in the middle of a clearing of trees. What came next would imbed itself in the boy’s mind for the rest of his life. Shortly after his escort left and just when Hikaru was about to go over some jutsus he might have had to perform a kunai flew over his shoulder, so close to his face he could have sworn he felt the brush of metal against his skin. He had quickly leapt from the rock and grabbed at his face, thankful that there was no blood. A voice told him that he was being sloppy before another kunai was launched at him. This time he dodged the projectile and reached for his own in the pouch of tools at his waist, launching it in the opposite direction where the other kunai had come from. He heard a clash of metal as his kunai was deflected and then a figure dropped down from the trees. Hikaru barely had time to look at the mystery person’s face before volley of shuriken were launched at him. He dodged the oncoming projectiles by lunging to his right but by then his opponent was nearly upon him, reaching behind his back and drawing a rather dangerous looking katana. Hikaru did the first thing that came into his mind and drew another kunai to block the oncoming slash. Metal clashed against metal again and the young ninja was easily driven back by the much stronger opponent. The man he was facing muttered some words Hikaru couldn’t quite hear and launched a kick right into his stomach, forcing him back a few feet away. He then told Hikaru that the leaf didn’t need such weaklings trying to become ninja and began making a few hand signs.
It was then and there that Hikaru actually was afraid, he didn’t want to die at such a young age, especially not to some random ninja like this. The attacking ninja was about to launch his jutsu when Hikaru looked up. The male saw something change in the male, noticing that he developed a tomoe around his now red iris. The sudden sharigan shocked the latter into dropping his guard and Hikaru took that chance while it was golden. He quickly formed the hand signs for his own jutsu he had learned from one of his ninja guid books and took a large breath. Finally seeing what was about to happen the opposing ninja tried to escape as Hikaru launched a stream of flames from his mouth at the opponent. The flames enveloped the ninja and Hikaru quickly cut off the jutsu before he himself passed out, the toll on his chakra making his legs nearly buckle. Once the flames dissipated there was only a section of burnt log left in place of his opponent. He them knew it was a substitution but what happened next almost threw him off his feet. Someone was clapping. Hikaru looked back to see his brother Shizuka standing there with a smug grin on his face. He informed him that it all was his test of sorts to see how they reacted in a stressful situation. He gave him all hearty congratulations and informed Hikaru that he passed the test, he gave Hikaru another congratulation, commending him on activating his sharingan, which surprised the latter. Hikaru couldn’t quite make it back to the village after using that much chakra at one time and had to be carried by his brother. Now he was a Leaf Genin.
Sample RP post : A small sigh came from the male. He was sitting on the roof of a building looking over the leaf village. His hair fluttered in the wind along with the bottom section of a black robe he was now wearing. He had just researched the Uchiha clan and he was confused. There weren’t a lot of people like him in the leaf village and that made him feel like an outcast. He didn’t care though, he had proved he was just a normal guy and people treated him as such, but that gnawing in the bottom of his stomach told him otherwise. He couldn’t help but feel isolated once word got out about his sharingan. With a groan the male flopped down on the roof of the building and looked up into the sky, watching the clouds lazily roll on by. His eyes soon started to flutter and a yawn escaped him despite how hard he tried to fight it off. Maybe a nap would do him good. Just when he was about to nod off there was a small “pop” to his right side. His eyes flicked open as he stared up at one of the village’s higher ranking chunin. The other male informed him that he was going to be put on yet another temporary team to be sent out to patrol the woods around the village. Hikaru shrugged and nodded at the ninja who soon left the same way as he appeared to no doubt inform other lower ranking ninja about their assigned tasks. He stood up and stretched, letting the sun warm his face, maybe when he got back he could go get some ramen or something. | |
