It also makes a different sound; rather than the usual swishing , Shinsoku makes a booming or static sound.

Description This is a lethal, powerful technique used by Ryusaki Toketsu. He extends on of his two arms and fires a small, very fast, purple bullet-like beam of energy from his index finger, which barrels down and pierces through an opponent, or explode on someone that can't pierce. It is able to be fired exceedingly quickly while maintaining precise aim.

Description:Barrier: This barrier allows Ryu to detect the movements and position of any enemy that steps within it. Anything that passes through this barrier that extends roughly 20 meters out from Ryu can be sensed when it breaches the barrier and while in the barrier. Exact locations and movements as well, he can even sense who it is to a point with chakra.

Description: Similar to the Clone Technique, this jutsu creates clones of the user. Unlike the Clone Technique, these clones are actual copies, not illusions. The user's chakra is evenly distributed among every clone, giving each clone an equal fraction of the user's overall power. The clones are capable of performing jutsu on their own and can even bleed, but will usually disperse after one or two solid blows. They can also disperse on their own. The clones will be created in roughly the same condition as the original.

Shinrabanshou No jutsu-

Description: By using his chakra control Ryu produces "branches" of chakra using the area around him as a medium. They will home in on chakra, scources, to slash,impale etc. and absorb chakra based attacks (to a point). When they stab into something it will absorb chakra from that thing or person, to increase it's strength. It can also be used as a mobile outlet for Ryu's other attacks. This jutsu consumes a huge amount of chakra and none of the absorbed chakra will go back to Ryu. At best taking in chakra to feed itself will take a tiny bit of the strain from Ryu. As a set the jutsu lasts 9-13 posts, Ryu cannot use any other jutsu over C-rank while this jutsu is in effect.

Ikkotsu (一骨, "Single Bone"): A combo that generally ends, in Ryu delivering a devastating punch to the targets chest, using fire to increase the damage of the attack.

Sōkotsu (双骨, "Double Bone"): Stronger than Ikkotsu, it is a powerful two-fisted punch, that is often increased in damage by Ryu's speed and fire attacks

Other than that, the hawk can go nearly anywhere. When the hawk get's close to the target, it will engulf and burn the opponent, then explode.

Description: The user exhales a large column of fire which takes the form of a giant, powerful dragon, created out of fire. The user then skillfully manipulate that great fire, and attacks their opponent. Anyone caught in the technique could potentially be reduced to ashes. This jutsu is a lot similar to Water Dragon Bullet Technique since both jutsu create a dragon of their respective element to attack the opponent, but unlike it's water counterapart this jutsu only needs ten hand seals. However, the chakra cost if far too greater.

Description: This jutsu traps the victims inside a self-repairing dome of earth which is almost instantaneously able to reform, even after Kiba hit it with his Piercing Fang. Jirōbō was able to absorb the chakra of anyone trapped inside, something he enjoyed greatly. However, Jirōbō's chakra was distributed throughout the dome, but not equally. Near the back (relative to him), his chakra was much weaker, making the dome weaker in that spot.

The range of the pit is determined by how much chakra is put into the jutsu.

Manipulating the Dragon Veins requires fine chakra control, but if one has such skill, they can use this technique to divide the space between the enemy and their own team in two, destroy enemy camps or defenses, and even to attack.

Description: The user flows chakra through all parts of their body, which hardens their skin to a steel-like quality. This increases their defensive power to the utmost limits. The user's skin becomes much darker, an almost black color. Furthermore, the destructive power of physical attacks is increased, making this a great all-purpose technique. The amount of techniques that can break through the areas hardened by the Earth Spear are close to zero, not including its undeniable weak point: Lightning Release ninjutsu.

Description: his ninjutsu is used to defend against an incoming attack by creating a solid wall of earth. Chakra is converted to earth within the body and then spat out. This earth then instantly rises up and takes form. The barrier itself is also coated with chakra, making its strength incomparable to that of a normal mud wall. Because of the earth's special characteristics, the wall is highly resistant against, for instance, fire and water. Also, for a Kage-class shinobi it is possible to create a vast volume of earth. When used by Kakashi he creates a wall composed of bulldog sculptures to box-in Pain. It has been shown to be able to be shaped by the user.

Description: This is a technique that allows its user to blend into rocks and then move in and out of other rocks undetected. In particular with Yamato, when he had to partially emerge from the rocks, his body will take on a similar texture to his surroundings to in.

Description: This technique changes earth into fine sand by channeling chakra into it, allowing the user to dig through it like a mole. The user can pinpoint where they are, despite being underground, by sensing the magnetic forces. They can also sense what is happening on the surface and use that information to launch a surprise attack on the enemy.[2][3][4] One can also hide deep in the ground, escaping to a depth where the enemy can't reach.

Description: By changing the surface of an object (ground, ceiling, wall, etc.) beneath an enemy (relative to them) into mud and creating a swamp, the user can sink his enemy into the mud. The adhesive, chakra-infused mud ensnares the enemy's body, making it almost impossible to recover one's strength and escape from there. The size and depth of the created swamp depends on the user's skill and the amount of chakra used, but if the user is an expert in this technique, it will always be possible to make a fair-sized swamp which is extremely effective against a great number of enemies or having to face gigantic creatures.[2] The technique can also be used on a smaller scale to trap individual foes.

Description: The user places his hands to the ground after converting their chakra in to lightning, then sending a powerful bolt of electricity that cuts through the ground in the direction of the target. The shape of the bolt is a triangle with the base in the direction of the user and the tip headed towards the target. It causes devastating destruction on its way and generates enough heat and power to destroy whatever it comes into contact with.

He can also use this jutsu to reduce even people to have the carbon structure of charcoal. and Reinforce nearly anything, as long as he has a direct path to something. Ryu can also decompose anything he touches as will, switching the carbon structure so that it falls apart like dust in an instant.

It must be spread through touch though.

Description: Ryu can manipulate carbon, earth and diamond in it's purest form making it nearly unbreakable. He can form and manipulate the diamond/carbon in any way he felt like it forming it from the ground and donig several attacks with it. Making it nearly limitless amount of combinations from making it spawning from the ground, to creating a jutsu to chase a person. By using carbon manipulation to it's fullest he can basically control earth and most living things to their max.

Description: Ryu can puncture someone with diamond, and begin to absorb their chakra and send it back to him the diamond is versatile and has many uses.

Genin Arc

Ryu graduated from the academy at the age of eight years old. He was overall disliked by those around him in general. Never a good reason why, he was just the kid that they found easy to make fun of. He didn't per say make it hard for them either. Ryu would take the punishment, fueling their anger. As time went pass they would escalate in what they did to him Beating him up "accidentally" throwing kunai at him during training among other things. Sure he would try to tell the teachers or do something better about it, but there was nobody to tell. Ryu's father was a ninja who spent as little time around him as possible on purpose. His mother was equally as distant, just not physically. Blaming him for every misfortune that befell them. Through this all training, was done by him alone. Trying his best to hone the basic skills he created over the years. That was until he was assigned a squad and a jounin. His jounin, saw that Ryu had potentiol, but non of it that could be unlocked through training by himself. Instead his jonin took him on as a personal, student. Giving him special training away from the rest of his squad, increasing Ryu's skills in the basic arts. This training continued even through to chuunin, giving Ryu the only parental figure he would ever know.

Chuunin


Ryu and his squad were nominated to take the chuunin exams after around three years of being with jonin. The reason why it had taken so long was based solely off the fact that their teacher wanted to make sure they passed. He was a proud person, and had no intention of leaving a scar on his name if they failed. Now eleven years old Ryu was now an average skill level. After three years of specialized training with with a jounin, Ryu would be much more skilled than that. There was much to work on though, and his teacher wanted to at least teach each of the students of their elemental affinity. Ryu had just begun to teach him how to use earth techniques. Ryu had far from mastered the technique, even so they were able to get through the second part of the exams. However though this group managed to avoid a preliminaries getting through the final stage would be more than a challenge. Of twenty possible people who took part, only about six managed to graduate. Ryu was luckily one of those six, but one of his old squad members weren't so lucky. Through just chance they were transferred to a different squad since the old set had graduated. At this rank is when Ryu began to show his skills and blossom into a skilled ninja. Through more intensive training, Ryu gained more control of his earth release. After his teacher had felt like he had given Ryu enough info about his earth release he decided that he was almost done teaching him everything he needed. Towards the end, his mother overdosed on alcohol and died. Though slightly saddened Ryu refused to attend the funeral, filled with anger from neglect of his childhood. His father did not attend either, Ryu simply put the thought out as he completed missions and moved onto the rank of jonin.

By this time Ryu had become a recognized ninja. Even now he remained to train with his old teacher that over time created a father son bond between the two. As time passed his old teacher began to help Ryu control his carbon based release. He also helped Ryu perfect and develop some of his own special jutsu's for this rank. From here they remained friends as it had been almost six years since Ryu became a chuunin. At the same time as he was gaining a father he was losing one. After the death of his mother his father grew even more distanced from him now that there wasn't much pulling them together. Soon the father and son were more like rivals then they were family, competing witch each other to the point that one of the few missions they were on together ended in total failure. The death of several people, among other things, they both blamed the other. Eventually they figured it would be better to just split their own seperate ways. Ryu would remain a jounin for three more years while his father would join the anbu. At some time his father was captured in the field and commited suicide to avoid having to talk about his actions. Because of the nature of his work, no body was ever recovered. It is not like there was many people to bury him, as Ryu purposely broke off all contact with him. He had no thoughts of bringing back that connection just because the man was dead. But now he only had one "close" friend left, who felt he had taught him basically everything. Close to his death and final weaks before dying in the field,. Ryu left it as an option but never pursued it, that is until his teacher died.
